Fort Recovery One of a Kind Auction 2026 One-of-a-Kind Annual Auction to benefit the historic land of Fort Recovery through the Historical Society and Project Recovery.

Happy 4th of July!!

Check out Lane Matthew Hull's page regarding the events on July 5th at the Community Park Pavillion. Hot Dog eating contest, Pie eating contest, baseball games and a community potluck dinner at 6pm. Even more information on Fort Recovery Community Potluck page.

And remember the free event at the Fort Site park area on Saturday, July 25th. It starts with a parade at 10am followed by an opening ceremony and will wrap up at 7:15. Golf cart decorating contest, a war plaque dedication, stump a Staugler quiz show and so much more. ALL FREE! Fireworks at 10!!! Check out the page America's turning 250.

We also have Battlefield tours, free concerts at the Hein Amphitheater and Community Vacation Bible School.

Our summer reading program also ends with a free night of swim on July 8th. Refreshments & prizes will take place at the Pavilion beginning at 5pm

National Night Out with free swimming is on July 19 at the Ambassador Pool located at the Community Park.

And finish the month of July off with a visit to the Ambassador Park for the NTPA tractor pulls!! July 31st & August 1st!

**Thursday, April 9th is our Track & Field Senior Night as our participates take on Jay Co.
**The EMS Drama will be at 7pm on Friday April 10th and at 2pm both Saturday April 11th & Sunday April 12th. You know it will be a joy to watch our students showing off their acting talent!!
**Don't forget to pick up your presale Fireman's BBQ Chicken Dinner on Sunday, April 12th.
**The Fort Recovery Public Library will host a used book sale the week of April 13th during library hours.
**The Fort Recovery Community Garage Sales will be held April 16-18 with some sales starting as early as April 15th. Look for maps listing the available sales soon.
**Our upper classman's prom is set for Friday, April 24th with their promenade being held at the field house prior to their meal.
**The annual Brick Street Market & Maker's Fair will be held on Wayne St. between 9-12 on Saturday, April 25th. The Fast Cash Raffle drawing will take place at noon. $$$$
**On Sunday, April 26th, the spring band concert will be held at the Fort Recovery Elementary Middle School and will feature students in grade 5-12.

Our local sports schedules are down to the boys basketball tournament action. Continued success to them! Baseball, Softball & Track will be busy towards the end of the month! Calm before the busy schedules that come with spring activities.

Daylight Savings Times begins on Sunday and don't forget to pick up your preordered Pork Loin Dinner from the K of C on Commerce Street. The HS & MS Choir will perform their Cabaret Concert at 6pm in the auditeria.

Monday, March 9th is the Chamber of Commence Citizen of the Year Banquet held at the American Legion at 5:30p.m. Tickets available at the door. Tom Kaup & Carl Hastings will be inducted into the Hall of Fame and Amy (Kurt) Wendel will be named Citizen of the Year. Other awards will be given for improved properties, college scholarships, and business of the year.

Parent Teacher Conferences are Thursday, March 12th. The 1st Grade School Performance is March 19th at 7pm. Kindergarten will perform for their grandparents on Friday March 20th at 9am. Both performances are in the FREMS auditeria. The FFA Banquet is Tuesday, March 24th at 6:30 p.m.

FRIDAY, MARCH 27th is the DEADLINE TO HAVE YOU NAME/ADDRESS PLACED ON THE MAP FOR THE COMMUNITY GARAGE SALES! Contact Mary Diller if you plan to have a garage sale on April 16-18th.

Check out the Merchants Association Easter Event from 10-12 on Saturday March 28th. We love our local Merchants that give back to our community in so many ways!!

The Father & Daughter Dance is set for Saturday, March 28th sponsored by the Girl Schouts and the Boy Scout Breakfast is Sunday, March 29th. Both of these events will be held at the American Legion.

Support for all these activities are crucial for continued success of these organizations that give back for Fort Recovery in countless ways!!!
