🥎 Congratulations to Our Award Recipients for Softball!

As part of our 6th Grade Recognition Night, we were proud to honor players whose dedication, sportsmanship, and love for the game have made a lasting impact on Fort Plain Little League. Each of our 6th graders were honored for their achievements on the field and two girls took home our seasonal awards.

🏆 Maria Hisert received the For the Love of the Game Award, honoring the hard work, dedication, and genuine passion she brings to the field every time she puts on a uniform.

🏆 Ellyana Brown received the Bright Future Award, recognizing her talent, work ethic, character, and the positive example she sets for others. Elly was presented with a new bat as part of this award.

Congratulations, girls! We are proud of everything you have accomplished and can’t wait to see what the future holds for each of you.

⚾️🥎 Home Run Derby Results 🥎⚾️

Our annual Home Run Derby was a blast! Instead of traditional home runs, players aimed for a field full of obstacles, earning points for every target they hit. The player with the highest score in each division was crowned champion!

A huge shoutout to our coaches who volunteered to pitch and did their best to avoid getting hit 🤣

🏆 Division Winners 🏆

⚾️ T-Ball: Gabriel Allen
⚾️ Coach Pitch: Baylor Fowler
🥎 Minors Softball: Ellis Fowler
⚾️ Minors Baseball: Dawson Harding
🥎 Majors Softball: Harper Fowler (Overall High Score - Softball)
⚾️ Majors Baseball: Ty Brownell

💥 Long Ball Awards 💥

🥎 Furthest Softball Hit: Ellyana Brown

⚾️ Furthest Baseball Hit & Overall High Score - Baseball: Tanner Putnam

The furthest baseball hit was actually a four-way tie! A bonus round was needed, with the winner determined by who hit the most home runs.

A huge thank you to BackCountry, our trophy sponsor, for helping us recognize our players and make this event extra special! 🏆

We’d also like to thank Stewart’s for stopping by and providing FREE ice cream for all of our players! 🍦

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this year’s Home Run Derby another memorable day!

⚾ LOOK HOW FAR THEY’VE COME ⚾

Today we’re celebrating Ty Brownell, one of our 2026 Little League Graduates! ❤️

Ty has been playing with us since 2018, building an impressive Little League career over the years and spending the last 3 seasons on Majors baseball. Whether he’s at first base, third base, in the outfield, or on the mound as a pitcher, Ty has always been ready to step up wherever the team needs him. ⚾

If a ball gets hit to the outfield, Ty has a way of making difficult plays look easy. And over at first base, he’s been an absolute wall. Add in a fastball compared to Roger Clemens, and you’ve got a player who can impact the game from just about anywhere on the field.

Ty’s dedication earned him back-to-back selections to FPLL All Stars in 2024 and 2025, adding to an already memorable journey. ⭐

Baseball has also been a family event for Ty. Throughout his career, he’s had his dad, Darrin, right there coaching along the way, creating years of memories that go far beyond the scoreboard. ❤️

Help us congratulate Ty and celebrate his journey in the comments! 🎉

⚾ LOOK HOW FAR THEY’VE COME ⚾

Today we’re celebrating Corbin Hazzard, one of our 2026 Little League Graduates! ❤️

Corbin has been part of our Little League family for 5 years, and over that time he’s become a player that opponents definitely keep an eye on. Playing outfield, first base, and stepping onto the mound as a pitcher, Corbin has made his impact all over the field.

If you know Corbin, you know exactly why he earned the nickname “The Red Devil.” With his flowing locks and lightning-fast speed on the basepaths, once he gets moving… good luck catching him. ⚾💨

A phenomenal outfielder, clutch hitter, and a player who always seems to show up in big moments, Corbin has spent the last 3 seasons on Majors baseball proving exactly why he’s become such an important part of the team.

His hard work earned him a place on FPLL All Stars not once, but twice, representing our league in both 2024 and 2025. ⭐

Some players leave their mark with stats. Others leave it with unforgettable moments. Corbin somehow managed to do both.

Help us congratulate Corbin and celebrate his journey in the comments! 🎉⚾

Tonight, we celebrated our 6th graders as they approach the end of their final little league season!

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of watching these players grow… not just in their abilities on the field, but as teammates, leaders, and friends. We’ve watched them improve their skills, develop a love for the game, and create friendships and memories that will last long after their Little League days are over.

We look forward to watching them continue to thrive, compete, and represent our community in the years ahead.

Toppers, we could not be more of you! ♥️

⚾ LOOK HOW FAR THEY’VE COME ⚾

Today we’re celebrating Kobe Skiffington, one of our 2026 Little League Graduates! ❤️

Kobe has been playing with us since 2019, and over the years he has become one of those players every coach loves having on their team. As an everyday catcher, while also stepping in at third base and taking the mound as a pitcher, Kobe has always been willing to do whatever is needed to help his team succeed. ⚾

And if there’s one title Kobe has earned along the way, it’s "Master of the Bunt." Whether it’s moving a runner, creating an opportunity, or making the smart play, Kobe understands that sometimes the little things make the biggest difference.

Kobe’s love for baseball started early while being coached by Shawn Clemons, helping spark a passion for the game that has continued to grow through the years. ❤️

In 2024, Kobe received the "For Love of the Game" Award, and in 2025 earned a spot on the FPLL All Stars team, adding two memorable accomplishments to his Little League story. ⭐

Help us congratulate Kobe and celebrate his journey in the comments! 🎉
