Here’s what I’d ask everybody to think about going into the weekend

As we step into this weekend, let's remember that supporting local shelters and rescues is more crucial than ever. These amazing organizations are the lifeline for countless animals in need, and they require our love, care, and support. The private rescues are working tirelessly, and it's imperative that we stand by them. Every small act of kindness counts, and together we can make a difference. Let's make it our mission to support our community animals and work towards creating a world where every city and county prioritizes their welfare. It's time for us to unite and demand stricter laws against animal cruelty, ensuring that those responsible are held accountable. Furthermore, let's strive to promote and support affordable spay/neuter programs, because together, we can create a brighter future for our furry friends.

LETS MAKE IT A GREAT DAY

This sweet animal is from a recent animal abuse case in Fort Pierce/ this Rescue stepped up to give her a safe place to land due to her medical needs as the shelter environment was clearly not conducive to her medical needs. I know the Fort Pierce Animal Fort Pierce Animal Adoption Center is very grateful for their assistance. If you’re able to provide support to this nonprofit please do so 

‼️KYA IS CURRENTLY IN SURGERY & NEEDS YOUR HELP‼️

Kya, the husky from the cruelty case, is in her SECOND surgery needed to save her life. Last week she got one surgery at PEMC ($1,040) to remove the necrotic tissue on her backside. She’s been going in for daily bandage changes, until today, when she had to see a surgeon.

She is now with Dr Hanson at ECVS, a wonderful surgeon that is essentially trying to put Kya back together. He is going to try to repair the tissue, close the wound, and place a drain for proper healing. Th estimate for today was $1,500. Between the two surgeries and other vet visits, the cost to save her has reached $2,750.

She has gotten up every day to fight, so we are fighting alongside her. Can you please donate and share to help her?

✨ HAPPY TAILS, SAPHIRA ✨

Saphira was more than just one of our longest residents… she was part of us.

For years, we watched her grow, through the seasons, through the ups and downs, always greeting us with that same sweet face, even as her little muzzle began to turn gray. 🐾💙

She waited patiently. She loved unconditionally. And not once did she ever give up on people… even when it took time for someone to finally choose her.

And now… her moment has come.

Saphira has found her happily ever after, the home she has deserved all along 🏡💕

This one is emotional for us. Because dogs like Saphira remind us why we keep going, why we fight for every life, and why we never stop believing that their person is out there.

Saphira, you were worth every single day of the wait.
Enjoy your new life, sweet girl… you’ve earned it.
