What a great day at the Southeast District 4-H/FFA M.E.E.T. (Mingling Event for Excelling Together)! 🍀

Youth from across the district came together for a day filled with leadership, teamwork, new friendships, and fun. Participants enjoyed interactive workshops, games, great food, and opportunities to connect with fellow 4-H and FFA members from neighboring counties.

Events like M.E.E.T. help young people build confidence, strengthen leadership skills, and create lasting connections while learning from one another. We are proud of our St. Lucie County 4-H members who represented our county and stepped outside their comfort zones to engage with youth from across the district.

A big thank you to the Southeast District Board and all of the volunteers who helped make this event possible. We had a fantastic time and are already looking forward to the next opportunity to connect and grow together!

Calling all Intermediate and Senior 4-H’ers & FFA Members!

Join us for the upcoming 4-H/FFA M.E.E.T. — Mingling Event for Excelling Together! This is a great opportunity to connect with youth from across the Southeast District while building leadership skills and having fun together.

Participants can look forward to:
• Interactive games
• Leadership workshops
• Food & snacks
• Networking and new friendships
• A fun day with fellow 4-H and FFA members

🍀 St. Lucie County 4-H shone at District Events! 🍀

Our qualifying members did an outstanding job representing St. Lucie County 4-H as they competed in Demonstrations, Illustrated Talks, Share the Fun, and Fashion R***e! 🎤🎭👗

These youth showcased countless hours of hard work, creativity, confidence, and dedication, and we could not be more proud of how well they represented our county.

🎉 We’re especially excited to celebrate that several of our members will be advancing to state competition at 4-H University this summer!

Congratulations to all of our participants for stepping outside their comfort zones, sharing their talents, and making St. Lucie County proud. 💚

St. Lucie County 4-H provided a stormwater education program for fourth-grade students on May 7, 2026. Students participated in three stations learning about stormwater treatment, wetland plants, and related vocabulary at Indian Hills Recreation Area. The three stations included: an interactive stormwater model, a littoral zone assessment, and a vocabulary-enriched orienteering scavenger hunt.

Because of your generosity and support, our youth were able to experience an incredible evening of creativity, competition, and hands-on learning. From building their cars to racing down the track, this event wouldn’t have been possible without you.

Your commitment to supporting young people in our community truly makes a difference, and we are so grateful to have you as partners in 4-H.

🏁🎉 What a race to remember! 🎉🏁

Our 2026 St. Lucie County 4-H Derby Race was a huge success! From creative car designs to exciting finishes down the track, our youth showed off their hard work, ingenuity, and sportsmanship all day long. 🚗💨

Participants put in the time to build, test, and perfect their cars. It definitely paid off! We loved seeing the smiles, friendly competition, and cheering from family and friends throughout the event.

👏 A big thank you to our volunteers, supporters, and sponsors who helped make this event possible. We couldn’t do it without you!

💚 Congratulations to all of our racers for an incredible job. We’re already looking forward to next year!

Our amazing Executive Board members had an incredible time last week connecting with 4-H’ers from across the state and getting to work on planning state 4-H camps for Summer 2026! ☀️🏕️

Throughout the week, they built their leadership and ambassador skills, led high-energy camp chants, and took part in fun traditions like senior pieing, all while making memories that will last a lifetime.

🚐 On the way, they even stopped by Florida 4-H Camp Cherry Lake to check out the exciting renovation progress happening at camp!

We’re so proud of these youth leaders for stepping up, representing St. Lucie County, and helping shape the future of Florida 4-H. 💚

The St. Lucie County 4-H Voting Delegate Application is opening soon! 🎉 This is your chance to represent our county at the Florida 4-H State Council, connect with members from across the state, and grow as a leader in a BIG way.

💡 4-H Councils and Boards help youth step into leadership roles, try new experiences, and make an impact at the club, county, district, and state levels—and this opportunity is no exception!

🌟 What you need to know:
• Each county can send 2 voting delegates
• If more than 2 youth apply, a short application process will be used
• Applications will be reviewed using the Florida 4-H Standards of Excellence

✅ To apply, you must:
• Be a registered Senior-level St. Lucie County 4-H member
• Be able to attend 4-H University (July 27–30, 2026) — this is required!

🙌 We’ll also look at your involvement and leadership in 4-H, such as:
• Club participation and projects
• County Council involvement
• District and state events
• Camps, boards, and beyond
