Katie’s Blessings permanently closed our doors in June of 2021. Yesterday I along with my stepson (visiting from Michigan) decided to stop and check on people at the park. We ended up buying pizza for them all. Soon after arriving home I received a phone call from the ft Pierce Police Department. I’m still not exactly sure why but was told I could intermittently stop and take food to the park I just found the phone call interesting since I shut down almost 2 years ago

Loaves and fishes feeds many people on Sundays at a different location, a private location as the city now imposes a $50 event fee in order to feed the homeless. Their organization is extraordinary and I’m sure would welcome any donations.

So such an amazing experience today to share my my experience with foundations wellness center and Helping Hands Community of the Treasure Coast Inc. Thank you to all our volunteers for there love and there devotion on coming out every week. Well we served 42 meals and the clothing Drive we serve pork loin baked potatoes with sour cream and butter salad veggies and chocolate cupcakes with peppermint buttercream icing

Awesome day today feed about 23 people. I love doing this every Tuesday it makes me feel good I've been doing it about a 11 months me and Katie met at the park and have been friends ever since God blessed us with an awesome team.

Another successful week at the park. We served 32 people this week. Brian Wolff made chicken and dumplings, Ann Marie made salad, Ilene Beth made cornbread and Amber Vance made chocolate covered strawberries with a fudge dipped Oreos. Elisa Glori Benedito, Alicia Love, Wendi Mekus and Sandra volunteered serving meals this week.

We served about 15 people this week. On the menu Tuesday we had hotdogs with chili sauce, macaroni salad, coleslaw and cupcakes for desert. An extra thank you to all of the volunteers this week. Brian Wolff, Ilene Stacy, Amber Vance, Fran and Ed, Wendi Mecus and Beth Berkow and Anne Marie. The cold weather shelters were open so numbers this week we’re kind of small. Thank you all for covering for me
