HOPE Warriors Inc Just some mothers, who don't want others, to ever feel alone. At H.O.P.E. Warriors Inc. we believe that everyone needs someone. We at H.O.P.E. You are not hidden!

HOPE Warriors Inc was brought to life to connect, uplift, and empower families that are facing medical storms through personalized support, compassionate community, and practical care - one story, one soul, one thread at a time. Especially when it seems like your back is up against the wall and you are unsure how to push back. Warriors Inc, want to be there to help you stand firmly again. Warriors Inc are here for the medical community, by using donations to help bring smiles to patients, their caregivers, and their families. To help bring reassurance, comfort, and certainty. We aim to assist the medical community in gaining its footing. Regardless if that looks like finding resources to fit your needs, food pantries, clothing, bill payments, gas cards, community support, necessities, rehabilitation, awareness, durable medical equipment and so much more. We understand that life happens, and oftentimes, unexpectedly. We want to be there for those moments, and all the ones in between. There is no mountain we wouldn't climb, valley we wouldn't cross, nor ocean we wouldn't swim, to ensure you could take a second to just catch your breath. We're here for you. Anywhere in the United States of America, at any time. Regardless of time zone, state, age, or condition. As with many other foundations, H.O.P.E. Warriors Inc was birthed from personal experiences. President and founder, Alanna, was just 18 years old when her son Steven was born. Before he turned 24 hours old, he had stopped breathing. Clueless to how long the road ahead was going to be for her new family, Alanna took charge and faced the challenges head-on, with such minimal support and assistance. This is when she realized the need for support in the medical community. She partnered with her mother, Patricia Sanguedolce, to stand up and make a difference in the world she lives in. To assist in bringing awareness to everyday struggles in the medical community. There are many ways to get involved;
- Message us for an Assistance Application
- Donations of any size or style are always appreciated. Gift card donations, food donations, electronic donations, cash donations, donations of your time and/or specialty.
- You can always help by spreading the word and letting others know we're here.
- Get involved with our community on social media and at events.
- Recommendations are always appreciated as well. Send us a message and see how you can get involved in spreading HOPE. Hold on, Pain ends

🐦‍🔥 Warrior Wednesdays Spotlight 🐦‍🔥
🇺🇸 USA Family
Every Warrior has a why.

Today, we’re sharing Joanne Sennott’s.

Joanne is not only a valued volunteer and board member of HOPE Warriors - she’s someone who has walked these roads with her family, and because of that firsthand experience, believes deeply in what we’re building and the families we’re here to walk alongside.

In this video, Joanne shares a little about why she chose to become an active part of our story. Her words are a beautiful reminder that sometimes, our purpose is found in simply showing up, standing beside others, and saying, "You don’t have to do this alone.”

Thank you, Joanne, for being an invaluable part of HOPE ❤️‍🔥

This is our story. This is our why. This is HOPE in action.

✨️🫶🏼

We celebrate and recognize the ones who still fight, and those whom fought hard until the end.

🐦‍🔥

Every child matters.
Every family matters.
Every story matters.

🐦‍🔥

No matter the boundaries.
No matter the struggles.
No matter the story.

🐦‍🔥

This is our why
To connect, uplift, and empower families. To help those families facing medical storms be reminded that they are seen, they are very much loved, they never have to do this alone again - one story, one soul, one thread at a time.

🐦‍🔥

The support is there for these families with Hope Warriors:
Hold On, Pain Ends.

🐦‍🔥

Let's spread the love, the awareness, the encouragement, the hope, and the legacy of our Warriors!

🐦‍🔥

Together, no matter where we live, we are Hope Warriors, where families facing medical challenges find rest, renewal, and unwavering support - where Hope is not merely offered but actively lived, ensuring no family carries their burden alone!

Today, we we're making room to hold space for two:

Grief and gratitude.
Memory and rest.
Love and exhaustion.

If you're remembering someone today - we’re holding space with you.
And if you’re simply trying to make it through today…

Please remember:
You are allowed to rest without earning it.

What is one way that you can offer care to yourself today? 💆‍♀️🛀🏻📚🖌
It doesn't have to be anything grand, but remember to say yes to you, too.
You cannot pour from an empty cup.

Drop some simple self-care hacks, ideas, or kind words in the comments for someone who may need to see it.

We're in this together.

If you are missing someone this Remember Me Sunday and would like for us to have a special post created just for them, connect with us.
We would be honored to stand beside you in remembering and honoring their lives.
We vow to always remember.

🪡 Every tapestry begins with a single thread.

One act of kindness. One "yes."
One person deciding to care.

Before a caregiver receives a meal...
Before a family steps away on a respite retreat...
Before hope reaches a hospital room...

Someone quietly chose to help.

A donor. A sponsor. A volunteer. A business. A church. A friend. A neighbor.

Each one becomes another Thread of HOPE, woven into the story of a family they may never meet, but whose life they help change forever.

Every meal served... Every mile traveled... Every moment of rest... Every smile...
It all begins with someone who simply said, "I want to help."
With a whispered, "I may not understand, but I want to be there for you."

To every person who has supported HOPE Warriors in any way, thank you.

You are more than a supporter.
You are part of the story.

Thank you for weaving HOPE, near and far.

💙Tag a Thread of HOPE in your life today. Let them know their kindness mattered. You never know how much hearing "thank you" could mean.

🧵Today's Thread: Every story of hope begins with someone who chooses to care.

I was looking at a field of sunflowers recently, and it made me stop for a moment 🌻

There was something peaceful about thousands of flowers all standing together, quietly facing the light.

It reminded me that hope doesn't ask the storm to disappear.
It simply reminds us where to turn our face.

Life isn't always gentle. Sometimes a week brings answered prayers.
Sometimes it brings unexpected phone calls, new diagnoses, surgeries, hospital admissions, insurance battles, or another appointment you wish you didn't have to keep.

Sometimes you're celebrating. Sometimes you're surviving.
And sometimes...you're somewhere in between.

That's why this community exists.
Not because we all share the same diagnosis - but because we understand what it feels like to carry something heavy.

At HOPE Warriors, we believe that when one person's light feels a little dim, another can help illuminate the path.

That's what community does.
That's what hope does.

It doesn't make the hard disappear. It reminds us that we don't have to face it alone.

So today, this space belongs to you.

Maybe you're celebrating something wonderful.
Maybe you're asking for prayers before a surgery.
Maybe you're waiting on test results.
Maybe you're grieving.
Maybe you're exhausted (I know I am).
Or maybe this week was simply...a lot.

Whatever your story looks like today, we'd love to hear from you.

Leave a word. An emoji. A prayer request. A praise report. A picture.
Or simply tell us what's on your heart.

No pressure to share more than you're comfortable with.
But if you need someone to listen...

We're here.

And if you have the strength today, take a moment to encourage someone else in the comments. Sometimes a few kind words become the light someone else needed to find.

🧵Today's Thread: Hope doesn't ask the storm to disappear. It simply reminds us where to turn our face. & when we struggle to find the light, we turn toward one another.

People often ask us why we created Steven's Journey.

The answer isn't found in a business plan. It wasn't "just a good idea."
It's found in a little boy.

Long before there was a nonprofit... Before there were programs... Before there were retreats...

There was simply our family, trying to survive a life we never expected.

Appointments consumed our calendar.
Hospitals became our second home.
Phone calls from doctors interrupted dinners.
Fear became our default emotion.

The weight of constant "what ifs" quietly settled into every corner of our lives.
And somewhere along the way, we realized something.

Medical families don't just need financial support. They need room to breathe.

We will never forget the feeling of stepping away for a little while.

Not because our problems disappeared. They didn't.
The diagnoses were still there. The medications still needed to be given.
The appointments were still waiting when we came home.

But for a moment...

We could breathe and laugh and remembered what it felt like to simply enjoy one another's company.

And something unexpected happened.

The rest didn't just help our children. It helped us.
As parents. As caregivers. As husbands and wives.
As people.

Because caregivers spend so much of themselves making sure everyone else is okay that they often forget they're carrying something, too.

The exhaustion. The fear. The grief.
The constant weight of responsibility.

Respite isn't about leaving your journey behind.
It's about remembering who you are while you're walking it.

Not escaping. Not pretending everything is okay. Not forgetting the diagnosis.

Just remembering...
You're still a mom. Still a dad.
Still a husband. Still a wife.
Still a caregiver. Still a family.
Still a person.

Rest doesn't erase the hard things or make the weight lighter...
But it reminds us that it's ok to put it down for a moment.

That's the heart behind Steven's Journey.

Some retreats are designed for the entire family to reconnect, laugh together, and create memories that don't revolve around hospitals or diagnoses.

Others are created specifically for caregivers - moms, dads, and those carrying so much every single day - to step away, rest, be poured into, and return home with a heart that feels just a little lighter.

Because when caregivers are cared for... Families are strengthened.
Hope grows, and no one has to carry the weight alone.

Steven's journey became the beginning of ours.

His story inspired a mission that has grown far beyond what we could have imagined.

Today, through HOPE Warriors, we have the privilege of walking beside families we may have never met otherwise, reminding them that they are seen, heard, valued... and never alone.

💜 If someone gave you the gift of rest - no financial worries, no appointments, no responsibilities for just a few days...

What would fill your heart?
Would it be sitting quietly by the ocean?
Watching the sunrise in the mountains?
Fishing with your son?
Reading a book without interruption?
Laughing around a campfire?

Tell us in the comments.

Sometimes dreaming about rest is the first step toward believing it's possible.

🧵Today's Thread: Every respite, every retreat, every moment of rest we provide is another thread woven into a family's story - reminding them that even in the middle of medical complexity, hope still has room to grow.

07/22/2026

Your brain is extraordinary.

It helps you learn.
Remember.
Dream.
Move.
Speak.
Laugh.
Love.

Today is World Brain Day. A reminder that brain health affects every stage of life - from the tiniest newborn to the oldest grandparent.

For many families in our community, the brain isn't something we think about once a year.
It's part of everyday life.

Epilepsy.
Brain tumors.
Stroke.
Traumatic brain injuries.
Cerebral palsy.
Hydrocephalus.
Neurological disorders.
Developmental differences.
Rare diseases.

Every journey is different, but each one reminds us just how remarkable - and complex - the human brain truly is.

Did You Know?

🧠 Your brain contains approximately 86 billion neurons, constantly sending messages throughout your body.

🧠 The brain itself cannot feel pain, which is why brain surgery can sometimes be performed while a patient is awake.

🧠 Scientists continue to make new discoveries about the brain every year, bringing hope for improved treatments and a better understanding of neurological conditions.

Today, we honor every individual living with a neurological condition, every caregiver walking beside them, every healthcare professional dedicated to brain health, and every researcher working toward tomorrow's breakthroughs.

Because every discovery brings another reason to hope.

🧵Today's Thread: Understanding the brain helps us better understand one another.
