PRAYER
I love The Lord, because he listens to my voice, and my cries for mercy.

Dear God, my soul has strayed from You. Comfort and peace have alluded me. I have searched for ways to return to You but to no avail. I may sleep tonight, but it will not be true rest. That only comes from You. I earnestly and eagerly ask that You restore my heart to You. Bring me back to a place of harmony with Your Spirit. I am tired and weary. May Your word be my bread. May Your Spirit be my water. May Your loving embrace and tender mercy be my rest. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

Have you ever struggled to align your desires with God’s will?Remember Jesus’ example of obedience and trust, and let it inspire you to face your challenges with faith and courage.

Reach out to someone who might be feeling betrayed or in agony and offer them support and encouragement, reminding them of Jesus’ steadfast love and ultimate victory.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, as I enter a state of calmness and humility, I thank You for the blessings You have bestowed upon me throughout the day. May my mind and body find peace in Your loving embrace. Lord, in times of uncertainty, You have been my guide, and I am grateful for Your good counsel. I ask that You continue to provide me with Your wisdom and direction so that I may make sound decisions that honor and glorify You. It is sweet to be satisfied in Your presence and near Your heart. I have made You my refuge and tucked myself into Your will like a child in a blanket. As I drift into a peaceful slumber, I trust Your unwavering love and care. Watch over me, dear God, and may You surround me with divine protection. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

Dear Lord, sometimes the worries and burdens of life keep me from truly resting in You. I feel like I’m treading water and losing strength. I am weary, Lord, and cry out to You for rest. Meet me in my weakness, gracious God. Come to me in the night and restore rest to my reeling soul. Answer me tonight as I seek to sleep. When I am in pain, comfort me. When I am anxious, give me peace. Let the hush of heaven envelop me like a warm blanket. I know You will be faithful to me. You have repeatedly proven that You can be relied upon to restore, renew, and refresh. I will wait for You and close my eyes. I will breathe in with trust, and exhale a song of praise to You. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.

Dear God, You are a Father to the fatherless and home to the homeless. And when I am aimless, You give me purpose. I pray that You would rain Your abundance on me tonight and refresh my weary mind, body, and soul. Teach me to rest in humbleness and slip into sleep with confidence in Your providence. Relieve my heart of hatred, unburden my soul from bitterness, and empower me with forgiveness. I want tomorrow to be a new day filled with new beginnings and fresh purpose. Fill me anew, Lord Jesus. In Your glorious name, I pray, Amen.
