Dekalb/Cherokee FOP Lodge #37 The purpose of the FOP is to assist law enforcement officers in the betterment of working conditions.

At our July meeting, we voted to have our August meeting at the Terrapin Hills pool for a family night. The date for that will be Thursday, August 7 from 6-8 p.m. All members and family are invited. Andy and Josh will grill hamburgers and hotdogs. We will have a short business meeting. Hope to see everyone there!

‼️🚨🚨We regret to inform everyone that this year’s Annual Golf Tournament is postponed until further notice due to flash flooding on the course. 🌊The weather just isn’t on our side this time☔️

We know everyone was looking forward to it (we were too!), and we are reaching out to all the teams to notify them of the postponement. We will update you with the new date as soon as possible.

We will be having our monthly FOP meeting this Tuesday night, the 8th. We will eat at 5, and the meeting will follow. We have set the date for our golf tournament for Friday, June 13. We will have the flyers and posters at the meeting.

Just a reminder of our upcoming meeting...We will meet Today, the 12th, at the administrative building below the Sheriff's Office in Centre. The address is 260 Cedar Bluff Rd. Centre, AL 35960. We will eat at 5:00, and the meeting will follow.

Our FOP family night will be on Thursday, August 8 from 5-7pm at the Terrapin Hills pool. All members are invited, so come and hang out! Bring your kids for a fun evening of swimming. Josh is planning to grill hamburgers and hotdogs. Please let us know if you’re coming and how many you will be bringing so we will have enough food. Hope to see everyone there!
