Child Care of SWFL Food Program The objective is to provide reimbursement for meals and snacks served to children in child care settings & access to food and a healthy diet to children.

Meals and snacks served to children must meet specific U.S. Department
of Agriculture meal pattern requirements. To qualify for reimbursement, meals and snacks must include, at a minimum,
food components in amounts specified by age. A breakfast must include at
least three food components (meat/meat alternate is optional), a lunch/
supper must include all four components with an additional fruit an

d/or
vegetable, and a snack must include at least two different food components. The meal pattern food components are:
Fluid milk
Fruits and vegetables
Grains and breads
Meat and meat alternates

Nutrition is a top priority in helping children succeed in Early Learning. Part of the mission of CCSWFL is our Child Care of SWFL Food Program. We support 187 daycare home providers, 183 professional centers, 3 AMP, and 5 directly operated centers across 28 counties in Florida. Our goal is to help our clients make sure their students are fueled with healthy meals during the school day.

We are excited to invite you to a fun-filled evening at the ballpark on Saturday, June 3 for an outing with Mighty Mussels baseball! 50% of proceeds from all tickets sold through our special link below will be donated to Child Care of SWFL!
