Lee Health Foundation Over the last year, the Foundation has distributed more than $27 million to support Lee Health’s mission.

Philanthropic resource for Lee Health, partnering with individuals and organizations, to establish, expand and enhance innovative, lifesaving and preventative programs. Lee Health Foundation raises philanthropic dollars on behalf of private nonprofit Lee Health to establish, expand and enhance innovative, lifesaving and preventative programs. As we reflect on Dr. Larry Antonucci's final message as President & CEO of Lee Health, we're grateful for the lasting impact of his leadership on our health system, our team members, and our community.

To honor his career and commitment to investing in people, the Lee Health Foundation Board of Trustees, in partnership with the Lee Health Board of Directors, established the Dr. Larry Antonucci Scholarship Endowment Fund with a founding gift of $250,000.

The fund will create ongoing opportunities for Lee Health employees to pursue education, leadership development, professional certifications, and career advancement, carrying forward Dr. Antonucci's belief that when organizations invest in their people, exceptional care follows.

As Dr. Larry Antonucci’s time as President & CEO of Lee Health comes to a close this month, we’re taking a look back at some of the moments that have shaped his tenure. 💙

His leadership has spanned some of the most defining moments in Lee Health’s history, opening numerous new facilities, expanding access to care, and navigating especially unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and multiple hurricanes.

During his tenure, Lee Health has also continued to earn recognitions for quality and safety, excellence in care, workplace culture, and so much more. Even now, the future of healthcare in Southwest Florida is taking shape with a new hospital currently projected to open in 2028.

There’s a lot to look back on, and even more to look forward to. As we count down to Sept. 30, we’re celebrating all of the moments that have made these years so meaningful.

Caroline brings a wealth of experience in donor engagement, fundraising, nonprofit leadership, volunteer management, and community relations. In her new role, she will help strengthen philanthropic support for Lee Health's mission and strategic priorities while building meaningful relationships with donors and community partners.

Sometimes the best days end with dirty shoes, sore muscles, and full hearts.

Our team recently volunteered at ECHO Global Network, where we spent the day supporting efforts that help combat food insecurity around the world through sustainable agriculture education and innovation.

Whether we were harvesting, planting, clearing, or learning, every project helped contribute to ECHO's global mission.

As Anne Frazier put it:
"What a difference we made together! By the end of the day, we were dirty, sweaty, dehydrated and definitely ready for a shower, but we also left with new knowledge, great memories, and full hearts."

We're grateful for the chance to serve our community and support organizations making a difference worldwide. 🌱
