The 2026 Sean Shearman Garnet and Gold Fishing Tournament is shaping up to be an incredible weekend at the beautiful South Seas Island Resort in Captiva on July 17-18, 2026 — and there is still one premier sponsorship opportunity available.

We are currently seeking a Cooler Bag Sponsor ($2,500). This sponsorship includes:

• Premium logo placement on the cooler bag provided to anglers

The 2026 Sean Shearman Garnet & Gold Fishing Tournament returns July 17–18, 2026, and this year we’re excited to bring one of our favorite traditions to a new location, South Seas Island Resort in Captiva. Think great fishing, incredible views, and a full weekend with fellow Noles.

March is the month of service in Seminole Club world. We were honored to connect again with Valerie's House - a local organization that supports grieving families.

If you know a family with kids, teens, or a young adult who has experienced a loss, encourage them to connect to Valerie’s House for support.

Valerie’s House also thrives with support from volunteers. If you feel called to do so, get involved! 💙

And last but not least, the organization serves dinner every group night, making it one less thing for grieving families to have to think about on the nights they come for peer support groups. Businesses, individuals, and organizations can sign up to host a dinner. Connect with their staff for more information!

Florida State University will hold the fall commencement ceremonies Friday, Dec. 12.

The day will begin with a doctoral hooding ceremony at 9 a.m., followed by two ceremonies at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. for bachelor’s, master’s and specialist degree recipients.
