To our sorors and friends potentially affected by Hurricane Isaias, we’re standing with you.

Please review alerts and communications from the ERT Coordinators, along with FEMA’s hurricane preparedness recommendations, to stay informed and take necessary precautions.

Prioritize your safety, check on loved ones when possible, and follow local emergency guidance. You are in our thoughts and prayers!

This October, with purpose!

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated encourages you to make breast health a priority.

Know your family history and share it with your healthcare provider. Stay current on routine screenings, including mammograms, based on your age and individual risk. Pay attention to changes in your breasts and speak with your provider about any concerns. These conversations and screenings can help detect breast cancer earlier, when it is easier to treat.

We stand with our sisters and all those navigating a diagnosis, celebrate our survivors, and honor the lives and memories of those who have transitioned. Their experiences remind us why education, advocacy, and access to quality care remain essential to our work, especially in addressing the health disparities affecting Black women.

Be sure to schedule your screening if you’re due, encourage someone you love to do the same, and support efforts that bring care within reach.

As one sisterhood, we come together to raise awareness, encourage action, and surround those affected by breast cancer with care and support. This October and beyond, let’s continue showing up for ourselves and one another.

🎉 WE ARE SO INCREDIBLY PROUD of our phenomenal Soror Kristie Scott, ESQ! 🐘❤️

What a dynamic and powerful evening we had at the “Museum After Dark Social”. She truly uplifted and inspired every single person in attendance at tonight’s Author's Talk Back as she discussed her book, SUCCESSQUIRE: How to Acquire Success Based on God's Word. Her message was both timely and timeless! A heartfelt thank you to the Lee County Black History Society and the Williams Academy Black History Museum for hosting such a beautiful night of community. We are leaving feeling completely uplifted! ✨
