Today we highlight, Dion Freeman 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 He is a people-centered law enforcement leader with more than two decades of dedicated service with the Fort Myers Police Department. He currently serves as the Community Engagement Bureau Senior Lieutenant, where he focuses on strengthening relationships between law enforcement and the community through trust-building, collaboration, and innovative outreach initiatives. His leadership experience spans patrol operations, investigations, internal affairs, administration, and community engagement.

Dion currently serves as Executive Director of the Fort Myers Police Athletic League and as Sector 4 Vice President of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE), South Florida Chapter. He has also served as Co-Chair of the Lee County Homeless Coalition, a board member of the City of Fort Myers Local Affordable Housing Advisory Committee, and a board member of the Juvenile Justice Circuit Advisory Board.

In addition to his professional leadership, Dion is a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.

Fun Fact: Dion enjoys mentoring aspiring leaders and is passionate about integrating emotional intelligence and psychological safety into law enforcement to develop stronger practitioners, enhance organizational culture, and strengthen community partnerships.

We got our BLUE on last night at Culver's in Lehigh Acres! With support of our Sigma brothers, our AKA sister, Marcia, our Alpha brother, Willie Earl and Amicae, we had a great time. Zetas were greeters and hostesses to diners. Portions of each purchases went to our scholarships.

Our Sorors were out at the ULTIMATE ALL-WHITE PARTY supporting the local chapters of Delta Sigma Theta and Omega Psi Phi on Saturday at the Heritage Palms Golf and Country Club.
