On the first of every month, we highlight Be the One Day as a reminder that preventing veteran su***de starts with each of us as well as the importance of Buddy Checks! ❤️

The American Legion’s Be the One initiative encourages us to ask veterans how they’re doing, listen when they need to talk, and reach out when someone may be struggling.

September is also Su***de Prevention Month, making this month’s message especially important. A simple conversation or check-in can make a meaningful difference.💜🩵
