Hi Woodlands neighbors! My name is Ally Sinibaldi and I was born and raised in the Woodlands and we still periodically visit my parents home that was flooded often.

Our daughter Maylie is fundraising for her and her Girl Scouts troop. We have until Sunday to make her goal. If there is anything you see on here that you like, Maylie can deliver it right to your door! Unless it’s the magazines or the bark box. Those will be shipped.

Here is her website! If you’d like her to come and ask you in person, we love working on her entrepreneurship skills and building her confidence! Shoot me a message with your address and we will come by 🙂 💓

🏡 Let’s Support a Woodland's Neighbor! 🏡

We’re always happy to share when one of our neighbors starts a new venture! Derek Jones, who lives right here in the Woodlands on Perthshire, has recently launched On Scene Home Watch, a firefighter-owned and operated company serving homeowners throughout Southwest Florida.

On Scene Home Watch provides home watch services for seasonal residents, second-home owners, and homeowners who spend extended periods of time away — giving you an extra set of trusted eyes on your home while you’re gone.

If you’re a seasonal resident, travel frequently, or simply know someone who could use a reliable home watch service, please check out Derek’s new business and help us support one of our own!

🔥 Congratulations, Derek, and best wishes with On Scene Home Watch! It’s always great to see our Woodland neighbors supporting and serving our Southwest Florida community.

Trusted Southwest Florida home watch services for seasonal and absentee homeowners. Detailed inspections, storm checks, concierge support, and photo reporting.

🐶⚠️ PET OWNERS — PLEASE BE AWARE OF CANE TOADS! ⚠️🐸

One of our Woodland neighbors had a very scary experience with their dog and a cane (Bufo) toad. She found her dog with his mouth open and frothing heavily after apparently getting a hold of one.

Thankfully, they immediately began rinsing his mouth thoroughly with a hose and then rushed him to the emergency vet. They were told that thoroughly washing the toxin from his mouth may have made a very important difference in his outcome.

If you suspect your dog has bitten or mouthed a cane toad:

Act immediately.
Wipe the inside of the mouth and gums thoroughly with a wet cloth.
Rinse the mouth with running water for approximately 10–15 minutes.
Keep your dog's head pointed downward and direct the water so it flows OUT of the mouth — not down the throat.
Contact your veterinarian or emergency vet immediately. Do not wait to see if symptoms improve.

Signs of cane toad poisoning can include excessive drooling or frothing, very red gums, pawing at the mouth, head shaking, vomiting, loss of coordination, abnormal heartbeat, tremors or seizures. Symptoms can progress very quickly.

Cane toads are especially active after dark, so please keep an eye on your dogs when letting them outside at night. Also avoid leaving pet food outdoors, which can attract the toads.

Please share this information with everyone in your household who cares for your pets. Knowing what to do immediately could save your pet's life. ❤️🐾

Thank you to our neighbor for sharing her experience so the rest of us can be prepared!
