We are thrilled to announce the official return of the FOPS (Friends of Project SEARCH) program at HealthPark Medical Center and the Golisano Children’s Hospital! This wonderful initiative pairs our Project SEARCH Lee County interns with dedicated Lee Health employees for a unique, personal mentoring experience.

Once a month interns and their designated "Friends" will meet for a one-hour lunch. This dedicated time gives interns a safe, supportive space to practice social skills and discuss topics that are typically outside the scope of a standard workplace environment - such as weekend plans, family activities, favorite hobbies and personal interests

By connecting interns with an additional mentor in the hospital, the FOPS program provides our young professionals with an extra layer of personal guidance, encouragement and friendship as they navigate their career and life journeys.

We are incredibly grateful to the Lee Health staff members who have volunteered their time to become "Friends." Your willingness to invest in these interns is just one more reason why HealthPark and Golisano Children’s Hospital truly standout in our community!

We are thrilled to announce the official return of the FOPS (Friends of Project SEARCH) program at HealthPark Medical Center and the Golisano Children’s Hospital!
