Okay, we’re bragging a little!

The Zonta Club of Fort Myers is in Florida Weekly!

Our $2,500 grant to Crisis Prevention & Empowerment was featured—and this is exactly why we do what we do.

Every ticket sold. Every fundraiser supported. Every hour volunteered. It all comes back to making a difference right here in our community.

This grant will help provide crisis intervention, mental health support, case management, education and referral services to women, girls and families throughout Southwest Florida.

We may be a small club, but take a look at what we can accomplish together.

Small but mighty? Absolutely.

It's almost time for our annual Partners Pink Run! 💪🏼 Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a way to contribute to a great cause, this event is perfect.

All proceeds from this 5K Run or 1 Mile Walk will support our mission of providing free mammograms and continued breast care after a diagnosis to people with limited income and no insurance.

Dress up in your best pink outfits and show your support during October's Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 🩷

A change of scenery made for a great Zonta evening!

We traded our usual meeting spot for Bistro 41 and enjoyed good food, plenty of conversation, and even a little entertainment from the robot delivering our meals! Apparently, Zonta meetings have officially entered the future.

We also got down to business—talking about big changes being considered at the Zonta International level, approving our updated Club bylaws, and beginning plans for our 16 Days of Activism this fall.

Good conversation, important work, lots of laughs, and a robot waiter. Not a bad way to hold a Zonta meeting!

Zontians Into the Woods…and then off to dinner! 🎭🍽️

Several of our members enjoyed a fun night at Players Circle Theater followed by a wonderful dinner at Pawnbrockers.

One of the things I love about our club is that somewhere along the way, the people you work beside to make a difference in our community also become people you simply enjoy spending time with.

We work together. We serve together. And yes…we know how to have a little fun together, too!

Tonight we proudly installed the 2026–2027 officers of the Zonta Club of Fort Myers. A heartfelt thank you to Area 6 Director Judy Langley for leading the installation ceremony and inspiring us as we begin a new year of service, leadership, and advocacy. Together, we look forward to continuing our mission of building a better world for women and girls.

This weekend I was reminded that Zonta is at its best when women come together to build something new.

I traveled to Nashville to celebrate the chartering of the Zonta Club of Nashville, with my daughter. Women from across District 11—leaders, members, and friends were in the room for one purpose: to welcome a new club into our Zonta family.

District 11 stretches across Florida, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, yet distance didn’t matter. What mattered was the shared belief that women working together can create meaningful change.

Every established club started exactly this way—with a handful of women willing to say yes. Yes to service. Yes to advocacy. Yes to leadership. Yes to making their community a little better for women than they found it.

Congratulations, Nashville. We are excited to welcome you to the journey

History in the fast lane. 🏁

This Memorial Day weekend, Katherine Legge becomes the first woman to attempt racing’s legendary “Double” — the Indianapolis 500 and NASCAR’s Coca-Cola 600 on the same day. And just weeks ago, Cherie DeVaux made history as the first woman trainer to win the Kentucky Derby.
