***Sports Update***
Changes for the home game on Friday and senior night on Thursday night.
Because of the rescheduling of our district game at Port Charlotte this Friday night (10-18-2024,) we will have our senior night on October 17, 2024. This activity will begin at 6:15p.m. at North Law Firm stadium just before the junior varsity game against North Fort Myers High School. We will give acknowledgement to the parents or guardian and give the future goals of each senior as he or she steps up and faces the home crowd.
We will meet all senior parents on the 50-yard line on the home side at 6:00 p.m. Please be prompt so we can give each parent and senior his or her special time. Looking forward to seeing you on Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m.
1. Volleyball – we will play Riverdale at Riverdale beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday (10-15-2024)
Football
a. We will go to Port Charlotte on Friday and cancel the varsity game vs. North Fort Myers High.(10-18-2024)
b. We will have a JV jamboree on Thursday night( 10-17-2024) beginning at 5:30 pm. at Dunbar High. Dunbar High, East Lee County and North Fort Myers High will participate, and the schedule will be the following:
1. Game one – North High vs. East Lee beginning at 5:30 p.m. or when the buses arrive. It will be three quarters with a running clock.
a. After game one, we will have senior night honoring our seniors who participated in football, cheerleading and band.
2. Game two - Dunbar vs. North at 6:15 p.m.
3. Game three – Dunbar vs. East Lee at 7:30 pm.
We will need ticket validators, law enforcement officers, and non-uniform security for these games on Thursday night. We will contact parents and the community about the changes in our schedule for this week.
