This week we will hear from a wildlife biologist with the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation. Mike Mills has been with SCCF since 2019. His specialty is turtles, beginning with Sea Turtles in Costa Rica when he was with the St. Louis Zoo. He is now specializing in the Florida Box Turtle. Mike oversees the wildlife field work in Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation’s Wildlife and Habitat Management Department.

They track various kinds of animals – including bats, rice rats, fish, and other native creatures, some of which will be presented in his program.

This program gives us an opportunity to learn more about the creatures we co-habitate with.

Come Join Us this week as we hear from Joseph CoField. While he will be speaking on Black History during the American Revolutionary War, Joseph has done a great many things. Retired US Army First Sergeant Joseph CoField has many accolades, including founding the Constitution For The People Not-for-profit. The organization is dedicated to putting copies of the U.S. Constitution in the hands of school-aged children across the country.
