The Jordan Guzzino McFaull Memorial Scholarship was established by the Beechwood High School class of 2007, the Beechwood Backers, and friends and Family of Jordan. An extraordinary young man, Jordan Guzzino McFaull, graduated cm laude from Beechwood High School in 2007 receiving Harvard Book award, Knight's Essay award, Susan B Anthony Humanities award, Defensive Lineman award, and an academic

scholarship to attend Tulane University . Jordan graduated with honors from Tulane University with degrees in English and History, followed by a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University School of Law New Orleans. Coast Guard Eighth District, New Orleans, and Judge Stephen B. Beasley, Many, Louisiana.While at Loyola, Jordan was Editor-in-Chief of the Loyola Maritime Law Journal . Following his law degree from Loyola, Jordan began practicing as an Associate for the law firm of Mouledoux, Bland, Legrand, & Brackett in New Orleans. Nothing kept Jordan from achieving his goals. He was an all-star athlete, excellent student, persuasive orator, outstanding writer, charismatic leader, compassionate friend and loving son. Some of his many accomplishments include Editor-in-Chief of The Loyola Maritime Law Journal, President of the Kappa Alpha Order at Tulane, member of the Tulane Rugby and crew teams, Tulane Distinguished Scholar, Anthony Munoz Defensive Lineman of the year Northern Kentucky, honors graduate of Beechwood High School, Governor's Scholar, President of Junior Statesman Beechwood Chapter, Knight Essay Winner, Outstanding Underclassman,Rotary Club Speech winner and Harvard Book Award. Jordan grew up in Kentucky while spending summers and holidays in Lake Charles, Louisiana with his grandparents and many aunts, uncles and cousins.. His joy of life was infectious; and he brought joy and grace to all whose lives he touched. He was much beloved by all who knew him. In 2016 the Jordan McFaull Scholarship Fund was established in his memory and in honor of his "never quit" attitude. Under the Program, one (1) $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to a Beechwood senior student attending a four (4) year college or university next fall. The committee will seek a graduating senior who not only has shown continued excellence in the classroom and in the extracurricular activities in which they participate but also one who has a record of volunteerism in the community in non-school sponsored activities and a strong record of leadership in high school and in the community. Scholarship Program Guidelines
* Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0;
* Participate in at least one (1) Beechwood High School extracurricular activity;
* Plan to attend a 4-year college; and
* Have a strong record of volunteer work within the community

Winners are announced in May of each year.
