Last night, DCCH Center hosted our annual Trunk or Treat, and it was a fantastic evening! 🎃

Children in our Therapeutic Foster Care and Residential Programs enjoyed a special night of trick-or-treating, exploring spooky trunks, and even taking a hayride around campus!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who decorated, dressed up, and joined us in making this event so memorable for our kids! 👻

Today, we celebrate National Mentoring Day and recognize the incredible DCCH Center mentors who make a difference in the lives of our children and families every day! We asked Kaylee to share what being a mentor means to her:

"I've been a mentor for nearly a year, and the experience has been just as meaningful for me as I hope it has been for my mentee. I've always believed that every child deserves a village of safe, trusted adults in their corner. Mentoring has shown me that making a difference doesn't require grand gestures. Sometimes, simply showing up, giving your time, and being someone a child can count on can mean the world to them. I look forward to our time together every week and am so grateful to DCCH for making these connections possible!” -Kaylee
