Progress isn't a straight line.

There are good days.

Hard days.

Setbacks.

Breakthroughs.

And plenty of ordinary days in between.

Strength can be found in the willingness to try again.

And again.

And again.

Share this with someone who could use a little encouragement today! 🤍

What does strength look like?

Sometimes it's trying again.

Sometimes it's asking for help.

Sometimes it's trusting someone new.

Sometimes it's finding your voice.

And sometimes it's simply believing tomorrow can be different.

Throughout September, we'll celebrate the everyday moments, caring relationships, and meaningful experiences that help children and families discover their own strength.

Because when people feel safe, supported, and believed in...

Strength grows here!

Throughout August we've explored what stability makes possible. 💛

We've seen healing happen through trusted relationships, outdoor adventures, learning opportunities, caring staff, generous supporters, and an entire community committed to helping children thrive.

As we turn the page to a new month, we carry forward one simple truth:
When children are surrounded by consistency, encouragement, and love, hope has room to grow.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us!

Together, we're not just changing lives—we're helping shape brighter futures.✨

For families.

For supporters.
For hope.

Your generosity helps us grow, whether it's in the garden or in the lives of the children and families we serve.

Just as our garden flourishes with care, our children thrive when surrounded by support and encouragement. Through Growing Hope, you're helping cultivate hope and brighter futures every day. 💚

This month we've celebrated healing, opportunity, relationships, and generosity.

Every story points back to one truth:

Children thrive when communities care.

❤️Thank you for being part of ours.

Healing doesn't happen because one person does everything.

It happens because many people each do something.

Thank you for being part of that story. 💙

August 25th brings deep meaning and joy to local family!

A curly, dark haired beautiful little girl celebrated her 4th birthday last week and was gifted her FOURrever family! 🩷🦄✨

The journey, however, started more than five years ago. It was right during Covid restrictions, when the family inquired with DCCH about adoption from foster care. They started virtual training and finished their paperwork and were approved exactly five years ago today!

DCCH is so delighted to celebrate this happy milestone and congratulate this wonderful, loving, patient and happy unicorn family!

This marks the 183rd adoption DCCH has facilitated since inception, and we look forward to climbing to over 200 adoptions within the next year.

If you are interested in learning more about foster parenting, adoption, mentoring or providing respite care, please come to the next free INFO mtg on Monday, Sept 21 here at our Fort Mitchell Campus at 6:30pm. Call 859-331-2040 for details or check out our website or 'event's on our FB page. 💙
