Preemies of the Carolinas Preemies of the Carolinas provides comfort items to families in the NICU All you need is left over fabric. The child will then have "home" away from home. Amazon

Preemies of the Carolina's is founded to help children of both North and South Carolina who will have any type of stay in the Children's hospital. We also send nationwide packets to parents of preemies and babies in the NICU

Inspirational Hearts is the project of interest. Two pieces of flannel, fleece, or cotton fabric sewn together into a heart shape approx 6x6 in size

Inspirational Hearts wi

ll give a heart or two to the mother or father who will go home and wear it for a day or two and will bring it back to the hospital where the heart will be placed in the bed with the child. The child will be able to recognize the scent of his mother when the child arrives home from a stay in the hospital. We are in need of crochet and knitted hats, blankets, sweaters, booties to keep our preemies warm while in the hospital. Children's blankets and quilts which can be used for the nicu and children of the hospital

These special hearts help comfort families and support bonding between mom and baby while they are apart in the NICU. It’s such a powerful reminder of connection during a difficult time.

Did you know a baby can recognize a mom’s scent from up to 12 feet away? That makes these hearts even more meaningful, helping keep that bond strong even when they can’t be together.

I love how the different colors come together to create such perfect patriotic hats for our families. Each one is unique, festive, and full of personality. These adorable hats will be worn on America’s birthday as our tiniest babies celebrate their very first 4th of July—a milestone that means so much to their families.

These are such a perfect comfort item for our NICU babies and help gently keep little hands busy to prevent tube pulling. Each one is so thoughtfully made and will bring both comfort and smiles to the families who receive them.

How happy and fun do these octopi look? 🐙 Their bright colors and cheerful designs are sure to bring smiles to families throughout the NICU.

I absolutely love the red, white, and blue striped hats with the cutest tiny stars on the brims. 🇺🇸⭐ Our families will love dressing their little ones in these adorable hats to celebrate America's holiday. They will pair perfectly with patriotic onesies and blankets to create special gift sets for our babies.

The chick hats are also a fantastic addition! 🐥 They will be perfect as we begin preparing for our next event, where we will need hundreds of themed hats to help create costumes and special holiday memories for babies in the NICU.

Carole, the detailed work on these blankets is absolutely amazing! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

The American flag appliqués on each patriotic blanket are not only beautiful but also incredibly delicate, creative, and full of craftsmanship. Any family would be blessed to receive one of these special gifts as we celebrate America's 250th birthday.

I also love the tiny hats that coordinate with each blanket. Some of our smallest babies may only be able to wear a hat while snuggled beneath a blanket, and these matching sets will help them be part of the celebration while bringing out the red, white, and blue in such a meaningful way.

These blankets, hats, and the love stitched into every piece will bring comfort, warmth, and joy to families during their NICU journey. Preemies of the Carolinas is so blessed by each and every one of our volunteers. ❤️ It is amazing to see how far our mission reaches, especially when we send individual packets to families across the country. We were so excited to receive this box of love from mother-and-daughter volunteers Dawn and Darrell all the way from Montana! 🏔️💕

I absolutely love the red, white, and blue clover featured in the center of the patriotic blanket. 🇺🇸 What a fun, creative, and unique design! The matching hat and blanket sets are beautiful and will bring so many smiles to the families who receive them.

The pink and purple blanket and hat set is adorable, and I know a girl mom is going to be thrilled to receive it. 💜🩷 I also appreciate the octopi in both patriotic and everyday colors. 🐙 These special items provide comfort to our babies while helping keep little hands occupied during their NICU stay.

The hats are so soft and beautiful, and the multi-pastel colors remind me of ice cream and summer days. 🍦☀️ What a wonderful gift to brighten a family's NICU journey. I absolutely love all the sayings, and the sparkle and shine on these onesies make them even more special. All American Girl and Let's Get Lit! are definitely favorites—they are fun, festive, and perfect for celebrating America's birthday in the NICU.

Did you know that most families are able to put their baby's first outfit on at around 3 pounds? For many NICU parents, this is a huge milestone and an emotional moment in their journey. Donations like these help make those memories even more meaningful by bringing joy, hope, and celebration to families during a challenging time.
