Preemies of the Carolinas Preemies of the Carolinas provides comfort items to families in the NICU All you need is left over fabric. The child will then have "home" away from home. Amazon

Preemies of the Carolina's is founded to help children of both North and South Carolina who will have any type of stay in the Children's hospital. We also send nationwide packets to parents of preemies and babies in the NICU

Inspirational Hearts is the project of interest. Two pieces of flannel, fleece, or cotton fabric sewn together into a heart shape approx 6x6 in size

Inspirational Hearts will give a heart or two to the mother or father who will go home and wear it for a day or two and will bring it back to the hospital where the heart will be placed in the bed with the child. The child will be able to recognize the scent of his mother when the child arrives home from a stay in the hospital. We are in need of crochet and knitted hats, blankets, sweaters, booties to keep our preemies warm while in the hospital. Children's blankets and quilts which can be used for the nicu and children of the hospital

Want to volunteer but your unable to sew or craft a project? Next time your in your local craft store pick up a yard of flannel fabric, send it to Preemies of the Carolina's and we'll do the work for you in your name! We have an Amazon list below!

How vibrant, cute, and amazing are these Halloween tote bags?! I absolutely love the fun designs, especially the trick-or-treat ghosts, cats, and pumpkins! 👻🐈‍⬛🎃

These bags were such a wonderful surprise! Many were used for individual packets, while others were sent along to one of our hospitals to share with their NICU families. Our families are going to love receiving one of these adorable bags to hold all their amazing Halloween goodies!

April, these are absolutely perfect! What a sweet surprise and such a thoughtful way to make Boo in the NICU even more special. Thank you for thinking of our families and helping us deliver Halloween joy, comfort, and love to our tiniest patients! ❤️

I absolutely love the TMNT hat! 🐢 It paired perfectly with a matching onesie and made such an adorable set for one of our NICU babies!

The solid hats were also so helpful for completing so many of our Halloween costumes. From adding the perfect finishing touch to our themed outfits to bringing a pop of color to our NICU babies’ Halloween weekend and beyond, these hats will help make the season extra special for our families. The green hats were perfect for creating our adorable frog hats, too! 🐸💚

How adorable are these lemon and strawberry costumes with their matching knit hats?! 🍋🍓 They are just too cute! Our NICU families are going to love choosing from all the amazing costumes we received this year. I know these fruity little outfits will bring so many smiles and make baby’s first Halloween extra special!

I also truly appreciate the beautiful Inspirational Hearts, bows, and Halloween hats! Each item helps us create special options for our families and brings a little extra joy, love, and comfort during their NICU journey. 🎃💕

Thank you so much, Meg, for all the adorable themed hats! From pumpkins, bees, candy corn, and spiders to so many other fun designs, your donation brings so much Halloween cuteness to our NICU babies! 🐝🎃🕷️

I always love the bee vests, and they were absolutely perfect to pair with the matching hat and blanket to create a complete costume set! These adorable combinations give our NICU families the opportunity to celebrate their little one’s first Halloween, even while spending time in the hospital. 🧡

Boo in the NICU has been such a success this year, and it’s all thanks to the amazing volunteers who continue to share their time, talents, and handmade creations with us. These perfect fall orange hats will pair beautifully with our fall onesies and costumes! 🎃 I especially appreciate the black and orange hats, which will be just right for completing our pumpkin costumes and creating adorable Halloween outfits for our tiniest NICU babies.

The soft blue and pink blankets are wonderful, too! 💙🩷 Blankets are such an important part of the comfort we provide to NICU families every day, not just during the holidays.

I just love the solid hats with pom-poms! The pom-poms add such a fun touch and make these hats extra special. 🧶 The adorable pumpkin hats will pair perfectly with our pumpkin costumes and onesies for the fall and Halloween season. 🎃

The royal blue hats are perfect for our Cookie Monster costumes and superheroes, while the dark green will be great for our frog costumes and superhero options. 💙💚 I love how these simple solid hats help us complete so many different costume combinations for our NICU babies!

And thank you for the adorable octopus, too! 🐙 These special items help us provide comfort to our tiniest babies and their families.

These hats are perfect for creating some incredible costume combinations! The adorable chick hats are just what we need for our NICU’s farm theme. 🐥🐷 I also love the one-eyed monsters, Frankenstein, and all the wonderful pumpkin and candy corn hats! 👻🎃🍬

With the help of our amazing volunteers, we’re able to bring these costumes to life and make sure no costume goes uncompleted! Each hat helps us put together a special outfit for a tiny NICU baby, giving families a reason to celebrate Halloween even while their little one is in the hospital.

I just love seeing all the Pooh hats coming in! 🧸 What a fun costume we have to pair them with! It’s so exciting to see these themed hats come together with our costumes to give NICU families a special reason to celebrate Halloween with their little ones, even while they’re in the hospital.

I also love the ghost hats, pumpkins, and candy corn! 👻🎃🍬 Our tiny NICU babies are going to look absolutely adorable this fall season!
