👇 10 Things to Know About Maisie's Green Brae!!!
Tega Cay has been waiting for this one, so here is a quick list of what makes Maisie’s Green Brae special.
1. The location is rich with history.
Maisie’s sits at 2150 Gold Hill Road in a building that has been part of Tega Cay since 1977. Most recently it was the home to Tega Cay Tavern.
2. The soft opening is almost here!
Lunch and dinner service begin this Friday, June 5th. Lunch will run 11 am to 2 pm and dinner from 5 to 11 pm.
3. The Grand Opening Celebration is set for July 4th.
U‑Phonik will rock the backyard stage for an incredible Fourth of July bash! 🇺🇸
4. It is truly dog friendly!
There is a fenced dog yard for off‑leash time and dogs are welcome throughout the outdoor space. 🐾
5. Families are also a part of the plan.
Children have their own play area, including a fairy garden, and the Wee Bairns menu comes with two sides.
6. The menu blends Scotland and the South.
Think smoked brisket poutine, Highlander Burgers, Loch Duart salmon, Sticky Toffee Bread Pudding, and a 30‑tap bar! 🍺
7. The smoker runs four days a week!
Thursday brings roasted half chicken, Friday brings prime rib, Saturday brings the Trio, and Sunday brings brisket until it is gone.
8. Live music fills the backyard!!!!
Music runs Thursday through Sunday with artists like Elliot Poston, DUSK TILL DAWN, Chubby Knuckles, GenX, and U-Phonik already on the books! 🎸
9. Private events are encouraged.
You can book the backyard, the dining room, or the full venue for celebrations, dinners, and gatherings.
10. Maisie is real. 🐾
She is the one‑eyed foxhound rescue who inspired it all. Her name means little pearl in Gaelic and she is often on site.
BONUS…There is a free Golf Cart Drive-In Movie Night being sponsored by Howell - Designing Outdoors Better on Saturday June 6th featuring Back to the Future! It starts at dusk and Maisie’s food and drinks will be available for purchase.
