In 2018, Charlie's Heart Foundation offered Addis-Jemari a three-year grant to support the amazing work they do in Ethiopia through their Family Empowerment Program. This program provides education, social support, mental health services, and more to families in Ethiopia. Addis-Jemari recently shared this touching statement about the power of partnership. 🔆

This year's Mental Health Awareness Month theme, "More Good Days, Together", beautifully reflects the spirit of our partnership. We are so thankful for Addis-Jemari and their devotion to ending the cycle of poverty in Ethiopia by supporting families through compassionate, community-centered support.

There are a lot of misconceptions about mental health and mental health care. Let's work together to reduce the stigma by spreading facts, not myths, about mental health. 💙

What can one heart do? 🤍 Charlie's Heart Foundation was founded in 2017 after the tragic loss of 5-year-old Charlie Holt. Its mission is to support vulnerable families through access to mental health care and family-centered services.

Here’s how you can show up for Charlie’s Heart this month:

RESERVE AHEAD. 🗓️ Purchase a drop-in for a pre-set donation amount for any Sunday 12 pm class at ParkTowne Village in May. Book on our website or app.

SHOW UP. 👋 We accept cash and cards, and you pay what you can.

DROP A DONATION. 💵 Can’t make it to class? Drop cash or a check in the donation box at the front desk anytime this month. Make checks payable to Charlie’s Heart Foundation.

We recently had the privilege to visit one of our grant recipients, The FACTS Initiative! The FACTS Initiative provides trauma-focused mental health care for families and children in our community! 🧠🔆

As a part of our grant program, we are able to support The FACTS Initiative in our shared mission of making mental health care more accessible for children and families in our community. Thanks for the amazing work! 🎉
