Camp Kudos

Camp Kudos is an annual day camp for children with Type 1 Diabetes, servicing Charlotte, NC and the surrounding areas.

KUDOS: Kids Understanding Diabetes With Our Support. Camp KUDOS hosts 110 children, ages 4 years old through the 8th grade. Here doctors, nurses, dietitians and camp counselors all donate their time to help children understand Diabetes

- Diabetes Action Plans are required for all campers and should be uploaded to the camp portal before June 1st. Forms should be dated from a 2026 appointment.

We’re excited to celebrate the 30th year of Camp Kudos! If you haven’t registered yet, there’s still time.
📅 Registration closes April 1st. Any campers registered after that date will be placed on a waitlist by group.
🐬 Update (3/11): Our Dolphin group (completed 3rd–5th grade) is currently on a waitlist.
