Talk about leading by example—and keeping your cool under pressure! 🥶🐎

Huge shoutout to Assistant Principal Mrs. Rhodes for taking one for the team and conquering the Ice Bucket Challenge at the Springfield Mustangs pep rally! That’s what top-tier Mustang pride and school spirit look like (even if that bucket of ice water did not hold back). 🧊⚡

Drop a 🧊 in the comments to show our favorite AP some well-deserved respect! 👇

Friday was a BUSY one at Springfield Middle School! 💙🐎

The PTO started the day celebrating our incredible teachers and staff for Teacher Appreciation, and then Mr. Sinclair had a fundraiser promise to keep. 🎤😂

When our Mustangs hit the $17,500 benchmark, Mr. Sinclair promised to sing karaoke during lunch… and Friday he delivered for the 6th, 7th AND 8th graders!

And apparently our students know how to fundraise, because they didn’t stop there. 🙌

We went on to surpass our $20,000 fundraiser goal! 🎉

We cannot thank our Springfield families, friends, students, teachers, staff, and community enough. Every donation, every share, and every person who helped spread the word made this possible. 💙

But the fundraiser fun isn’t quite finished…

Mrs. Rhodes is up next! 🧊👀

She’ll be making good on HER promise with an ICE DUNK this Wednesday at the pep rally!

Trust us… you’re going to want to see this one. 😂🧊

Thank you, Mustangs, for showing up BIG for our school.

And Mr. Sinclair, thanks for being such a good sport. 🎤👏

Mrs. Rhodes… see you Wednesday! 😬🧊🐎

A little Teacher Appreciation love from the Springfield Middle School PTO! 💙🐎

Friday we had the chance to treat our amazing teachers and staff to lunch and remind them just how much we appreciate everything they pour into our students every single day.

The lessons, the encouragement, the patience, the extra hours, the laughs, and the countless little things that happen behind the scenes do not go unnoticed.

Great teachers build stronger students, stronger schools, and brighter futures, and we are incredibly grateful for the people who make Springfield Middle School such a special place.

Thank you, SMS teachers and staff, for all you do! 💙

With appreciation,
Springfield Middle School PTO

Thank you for the kind donation! Donatos Pizza
