Crazy to think this was over 2 decades ago now, but I certainly remember it like it happened much more recently. I had holed up in a hotel near the hornets arena to be close to work in case roads were impassable, but Paramedic Hayes was working a normal shift responding to an MVA on I-77 when another vehicle slammed into the scene pinning him against the guard rail and ultimately led to the amputation of both of his legs.

We got a surprise from several families from Tega Cay today! They did a neighborhood drive for supplies, snacks, and other gifts specifically for first responders that serve our area.

The famous homemade Brunswick Stew event pre-order time is almost gone! We sold over 100 gallons last year! 😋😋
