There's the financial cost. The cost of training. The cost of sending. The cost of relocating. The cost of rebuilding ministry relationships. But there is another cost that is harder to measure: a calling interrupted, a community grieving, relationships left behind, years of experience suddenly gone. What if some of those departures could be prevented through intentional care along the way? We can't promise that preventive care will eliminate every crisis or keep every missionary on the field. But we can choose to invest in people before they reach the point of exhaustion, isolation, or despair. That's why Capture the Nations exists.

🫶Help us strengthen the people behind the mission. Your financial partnership makes preventive care possible.

Because “I'm fine” can mean: “I don't know how to explain what I'm carrying.” “I don't want to disappoint my supporters.” “Everyone back home thinks I'm doing great.” “I don't have time to fall apart.” “I don't even know what I need.”
Preventive care creates places where missionaries don't have to perform. They can be honest. They can process. They can ask questions. They can be human.
At Capture the Nations, we want missionaries to know: You don't have to be in crisis to deserve care.

🫶Help us create more spaces where missionaries can tell the truth before the weight becomes too heavy. Partner with us financially today.

Luke 5:16 tells us, “But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.”
Jesus understood something we often forget: being needed doesn't mean being endlessly available.
Missionaries are often surrounded by needs. People need them. Ministries need them. Churches need them. Families need them. And yet even Jesus withdrew. Preventive care creates space for missionaries to step away, listen to God, process what they are carrying, and return to their calling from a healthier place.
Rest isn't quitting. Reflection isn't weakness. Receiving care isn't failure. It is part of learning to remain faithful for the long haul.

🫶Help us create more spaces where missionaries can stop, breathe, pray, and be renewed.

International Day of the Girl Child

Every girl deserves to be seen, valued, protected, and given the opportunity to discover who God created her to be.

Behind every girl is a story still unfolding. A dream waiting to grow. A voice that deserves to be heard. A future filled with possibility.

Yet around the world, too many girls face barriers to education, safety, opportunity, and the freedom to imagine a different future.

At Capture the Nations, we believe lasting transformation begins when we invest in people. When girls are nurtured, women are equipped, and communities are strengthened, hope has room to grow across generations.

Today, we celebrate the girls who are finding their voices, pursuing their dreams, and courageously shaping their futures. We also remember our responsibility to create spaces where they can flourish.

When we invest in a girl, we invest in generations.

Will you join us in celebrating the girls in your life and around the world?

💬 Tag a girl or young woman you want to encourage today, or share one thing you hope every girl has the opportunity to experience.

What if we stopped wondering, “Does she want what I have?”

What if we stopped comparing our lives, our ministries, our opportunities, our influence, and our stories?

What if we could genuinely celebrate another woman without wondering what her success means for us?

There is something powerful that happens when women stop competing and start celebrating.

When we share what we've learned instead of protecting it.

When we open doors instead of guarding them.

When we cheer for another woman's yes without wondering if it somehow takes away from our own.

Her calling doesn't diminish yours.
Her influence doesn't threaten yours.
Her gifts don't take away from yours.
Her growth doesn't mean you're falling behind.

There is room for her story.

There is room for your story.

And there is room for us to become better women because we chose to share, celebrate, encourage, and walk alongside one another.

Let's be women who make room.

One Heart at a Time. Across Cultures. For Lasting Transformation

Preventive care isn't a luxury. It's wisdom. It's stewardship. It's an investment in longevity. Missionaries often receive incredible support when something goes wrong. But what if we could help prevent some of the breaking before it happens?
At Capture the Nations, we create opportunities for missionaries and ministry leaders to pause, process, receive care, and be strengthened along the way. Because sometimes the most loving thing we can do isn't rescue.
It's prevent.

🫶Help us make preventive care a normal part of missionary support. Your investment can help a missionary keep serving with health, wholeness, and endurance.

We invest in sending. We invest in projects. We invest in churches being planted, communities being served, and people hearing the Gospel. But what about the person carrying the mission? Missionaries are people before they are missionaries. They carry grief, transition, cultural stress, family dynamics, spiritual battles, loneliness, leadership pressure, and the weight of constantly adapting. At Capture the Nations, we believe preventive care matters. When we help missionaries process, rest, reconnect, grow, and receive care before they reach a breaking point, we are protecting the investment already made in sending them. The mission matters. But so does the missionary.

🫶Give. Pray. Share. Help us strengthen the people behind the mission.

Sometimes we assume that if God is moving, we must be doing okay.
The ministry is growing. People are coming to Christ. The team is functioning. The project is succeeding. But outward fruit does not always tell the whole story of what is happening inwardly.
A missionary can be fruitful and exhausted. A leader can be effective and lonely. A cross-cultural worker can be faithful and still carry grief.
Fruitfulness is not the same thing as soul health. Soul care invites us to look beneath the activity and ask: How is my heart? What am I carrying? Where have I become disconnected?

🫶Pause today and ask: How is my soul?

Every “yes” to God's call carries a cost.

Leaving family.
Learning another language. Starting over.
Living far from home. Navigating cultural differences.
Saying goodbye.
Carrying stories that are difficult to share.

We celebrate the yes.
But soul care asks: Who is helping the person carry the cost of that yes?

Missionary care isn't about making the calling easier. It's about helping people remain healthy enough to faithfully live it.

🫶Pray for a missionary who has said yes.
