🌎 ~5 POUNDS OF TRASH. ONE BIG LESSON IN COMMUNITY PRIDE! 💙

Our Paradise Youth got out in the field and put civic engagement into action—collecting an incredible 4.8 pounds of trash in Paradise! 🧤🗑️

The September 24th experience with the Town of Fort Mill gave our young people the opportunity to learn that being an engaged citizen isn’t just about knowing how government works—it’s also about taking care of the community we call home.

👏🏽 We are proud of our Paradise Youth for showing up, pitching in, and helping keep our community beautiful!

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS, ELIZAH! 🎉

Historic Paradise Foundation is proud to celebrate Elizah M., our 1st Round Cash Prize Winner in the Mott Foundation’s Million Dollar Challenge! 🏆💙

Elizah earned this recognition for submitting a project that promotes HPF’s SafeSpace web app, mysafespace.kids — a digital sanctuary designed to help young people find connection, hope, and healing when they need someone to talk to. 💚

Every young person deserves to be heard, supported, and reminded that they are not alone. Through SafeSpace, we’re helping youth take that first step toward finding support in a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free environment.

We’re celebrating Elizah’s creativity, initiative, and commitment to sharing a resource that can make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people! 🌟

✨ New Connections. New Partnerships. Same Mission. ✨

It was such a joy welcoming St. Paul’s Episcopal Church‘s new priest, Fr. Earnest, to see HPF’s new home and learn firsthand about the mission, heart, and impact of the Historic Paradise Foundation. We’re excited about the possibilities that come from building relationships rooted in community and service!

We were also grateful for the opportunity to introduce Grace Presbyterian Church’s Mission Liaison AnnMarie to St. Paul’s longtime partner, Mrs. Ellen, and Fr. Earnest for connecting two community partner churches who share a heart for serving others. 🤝🏾

And a HUGE thank you to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church for your generous underwear and sock drive for our older youth! 🧦❤️ Your thoughtful support helps us meet real needs and reminds our young people that their community is standing behind them.

This is what community looks like—showing up, connecting, giving, and making sure our youth know they matter. 💛
