What an incredible day in our little hometown! Meet Me at Museum Park was everything we hoped for and more, and it would not have been possible without an entire village of hearts and hands coming together.

First, a heartfelt thank you to the Fort Meade Historical Society for supporting this vision and preserving the stories that make our community so special.

To our generous event sponsors — Mosaic, Spectrum, Duke Energy, Ace Ranch, ReclamationTrees, and George Wadsworth; thank you for believing in this celebration and helping bring it to life.

To the amazing and talented students of Lewis Anna Woodbury Elementary and Fort Meade Middle Senior High School; your time and talent for the art displays and performances were phenomenal! Art contest winners will be announced this week. To the Ag students, I was absolutely blown away by your fresh produce. Fort Meade’s future is in capable hands with each of you.

Our committee members poured their time, talent, and love into every detail. Thank you, Priscilla Perry, Rebecca Mansfield Crawford, Tim Thompson, Tiffany Wyatt, Terri Davies, Shawna Green, Natalie Wright Feeney, and Candi Filyaw Lott. Your dedication is the reason Fort Meade shines the way it does.

A big thank you to the City of Fort Meade and city staff for their support, resources, and teamwork throughout the planning and production of this event.

To our wonderful vendors ; thank you for showing up with your best, sharing your crafts, food, and creativity, and helping make the park feel alive.

And finally… to our community: Thank you for coming out, supporting local, cheering on our kids, enjoying the music, celebrating our history, and reminding us all why Fort Meade is such a special place to call home.

Here’s to making more memories the next 175 years!
