Thank you to the Fort Meade Chamber for having Miss Fort Meade Hailey Cavazos, Junior Miss Evalyn Juarez and Little Miss Fort Meade Harlynn Thomas at their annual golf tournament.

The Miss Fort Meade Queens had an eventful morning. We got together for breakfast, in which our City Manager, Troy Bell, came in to meet all the girls and was so gracious and bought our breakfast! We also had our new Fire Chief Mike Zilka and today's shift of firemen: Capt. Emory, Firefighter Mitchell and Battalion Chief LaManna sit with us for awhile and took lots of pictures!

But the highlight of the day was; the Queens got to ride in the Firetruck!

BIG Thank You to three amazing women who stayed backstage with our little girls during the pageant. They probably had the hardest job tending to 16 energetic little girls.

The Miss Fort Meade pageant committee would like to correct an error that happened today at our pageant. Miss Kylin Hawthorne won an award and it was not announced. So congratulations to Kylin for winning the Miss Fort Meade Excellence award. We love you Kylin.
