Fort Madison Elementary School grades Preschool- 6th grade participated in a food drive competition. The food drive was overseen by the student council. 975 students participated in the drive and collected 3 vans full of donations which were brought to the Fort Madison Food Pantry today. Mr. Dikerson and Mrs. Helliges classes helped to sort the food. Thanks for all the hard work.

A big thanks for the eight volunteers from Silgan’s and the eight volunteers from Dupont for helping to unload the food at the food pantry that Silgan’s purchased. 8800 pounds unloaded in just 30 minutes. The volunteers were greatly and much appreciated from the food pantry.
