The dredge is coming 👀🎉
🛑 The Fort Madison Marina will be undergoing a dredge the week of August 10th! The Marina will be *OPEN*. However we ask our guests to Boat with caution as there may be moments of a short weight as the dredge fills and moves.

8/21/2026 UPDATE: Due to delays, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will begin dredging in the harbor beginning at 6:00 a.m. the week of August 31-September 4, 2026. Willow Patch will be closed and inaccessible during this time.
If the work schedule extends beyond September 4, work will pause until Tuesday, September 8, to accommodate the anticipated increase in boat traffic throughout Labor Day weekend.
Notice to Boaters – Fort Madison Marina
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will begin dredging operations near the Fort Madison Marina during the week of August 10. During this time, boaters may experience temporary delays when entering or exiting the marina as dredging equipment is operating in the area. Please use caution, reduce your speed as necessary, and give dredging equipment plenty of space while navigating near the marina.
