Parent Cafes are a great opportunity to meet other parents that are going through similar experiences, to learn from each other, and to build a system of social support with others in your community. We all need social connection and support to thrive!

The Keokuk Parent Cafe has had to change dates! We will be meeting on Monday, June 15th this month. Due to the change of date, registration to attend is open until June 11th.

Parent Cafes are an opportunity to meet other parents to discuss challenges and joys in parenting. The setting is casual, plus dinner and childcare are provided - for FREE! We encourage you to come check us out - Parent Cafes are for EVERYONE!

Need more information, please email Amanda at [email protected]

The Thrive Iowa coordinators all met today at the Department of Heath and Human Services under the shadow of the Iowa capitol building in Des Moines. We spoke with the Thrive Iowa state leadership team and members of Restore Hope about some of the key takeaways from our monthly alliance meetings. From our expert panelists who've volunteered their time to speak to our audiences who share engaging insights and ideas, we value and appreciate your commitment and dedication to our communities.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. How we communicate about mental health matters. It impacts the people who may need support, and it impacts how people view mental health in the community.

Mental health touches every one of us either directly or through someone we love. Let’s commit to talking about it with the care and honesty it deserves. samhsa.gov/mental-health/what-is-mental-health/facts
