For boys and girls in grades K-5. We are currently on our summer schedule! We are JBLM Cub Scout Pack 462.

We serve the installations of Joint Base Lewis-McChord and surrounding areas.

This is just a quick reminder about our pack hike coming up on Saturday, November 15th. It'll be a Sequalitchew Trail in DuPont beginning at 1000. It's our wet and rainy season so remember to dress for the weather! This trail is known to get muddy and isn't really stroller friendly.

Don't forget your 6 essentials and your Medical A & B forms!

Who: Pack 462 cubs and families
What: pack hike 1.5 miles each way (3 total miles round trip)
When: November 15th, 2025 10:00-12:00
Where: Sequalitchew Trail in DuPont, WA (putting Sequalitchew Trail Head in maps will bring you to it)
Why: because hiking is FUN!

Good morning Pack 462,
Friendly reminder the youth protection packet is in the front your scouts book and should look like this or something similar. Once complete, you can mark it off in Scoutbook under your Scouts advancements or let your Cubs Den leader know it's been completed to get that marked off.

Good morning Pack 462! This is a cross post of the email that was sent out through Scout Book. Sending out a reminder of upcoming events in our pack and area.

I do hope you are having a wonderful summer so far and a happy 4th to all.

Saturday, July 12 from 1000-1200 @ the hut is our craft day. Come make a nature collage or duct tape wallet or BOTH!

Tuesday, July 22 is our yearly Bat Hike at Woodard Bay Conservation Area. We are meeting at 7pm at the trail head and hiking in to observe the bats come out to hunt. It's a lot of fun to watch.
A couple notes for this event! A discover pass IS required, if you don't have one you can check one out at the library. Parking is limited at the trail head and other parking lots in the area WILL close and lock at dusk and your car would be locked in so car pooling if possible is recommended.

Some other local events in the area are:

•Webelos woods/ AOL adventures in September 20-21. This is a council event and scouts who attended last year had a wonderful time.

•Rainiers Game/ Sleepout under the stars (no tents) August 8-9. My kiddos have done this is years past and really enjoyed it.

•Family Camping @ Thunderbird (sponsored by OA) first weekend in September 6-7: there will be more info coming soon!

If you did not get your car checked in last night you can swing by the hut at 7pm Thursday and check in!
