Words of wisdom from President Fancher:

Labor Day isn’t just about a day off — it’s a recognition of the blood, sweat, and sacrifice that built worker protections we take for granted today.

As a Unionist who fights for workers and always has a target on my back, let me be clear: Labor Day is not about management, politicians, or corporate America. It is a day carved out by labor’s struggle, sacrifice, and solidarity.

Management running rogue isn’t strength — it’s desperation. They only look brave because your president handed them a bat to beat workers with.

If you hate unions but still enjoy the day off, remember — you’re standing on the shoulders of those who fought for what you now enjoy. Labor Day was earned by workers with a collective goal for better working conditions. So please if you bash the Unions make sure you go to work on Labor Day.

As an elected union officials , we will lawfully exercising representational rights guaranteed under 5 U.S.C. Chapter 71.

Management’s attempts to limit or punish any representative for fulfilling these duties are not only retaliatory but unlawful.

Executive Orders cannot override statutory protections, and any interference with this ability to represent bargaining unit employees will be pursued through every available legal channel.”
