This Mother’s Day, the brothers of the Sigma Mu Nu (ΣΜΝ) Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. proudly honor and celebrate all mothers, grandmothers, wives, sisters, mentors, and mother figures whose love, sacrifice, strength, and guidance continue to shape our lives and communities.

As a military chapter stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, we recognize the resilience and dedication of the women who stand beside us

As Langston Hughes wrote in Mother to Son, “Life for me ain’t been no crystal stair.” Yet through every hardship, mothers continue to climb, endure, and lead their families forward with grace, wisdom, and unconditional love.

The brothers of the ΣΜΝ (Sigma Mu Nu) Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. were in attendance and participated in the 76th Eighth District Meeting held in Omaha, Nebraska.

The brothers of Sigma Mu Nu Chapter were honored to be present among a distinguished body of Omega men, representing the continued commitment to the cardinal principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift. The 76th District Meeting provided an enriching environment where ideas were exchanged, leadership was strengthened, and the collective vision of the fraternity was advanced.

Equally important was the fellowship shared with brothers from across the Eighth District. Through formal events, informal gatherings, and collaborative interactions, we strengthened existing bonds and established new connections rooted in unity and brotherhood. This fellowship exemplified the true spirit of Omega Psi Phi, reinforcing that regardless of chapter or location, we are all part of one unified brotherhood.

The Sigma Mu Nu Chapter remains dedicated to upholding the standards and legacy of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. Our presence at the 76th District Meeting in Omaha, Nebraska reflects our commitment to growth, service, and continued engagement within the Eighth District and beyond.
