Have you been feeling a tug on your heartstrings recently like you want to volunteer with us and serve the teens but you're not sure of what it entails? Or maybe you're feeling a deep stirring in your soul and want to do something meaningful, something that makes a real impact in someone's life.
We invite you to join us at our upcoming Volunteer Orientation on Saturday, June 6, from 1pm-3pm, at the Welcome Center located at 3480 NE 3rd Ave in Oakland Park and learn how you can serve with us this summer. Summer Splurge Summer Camp for foster teens and at-risk youth living in group homes and shelters will run from July 6 - July 30 and you won't believe what a difference you can make in such a short period of time. It's easy, all you need is a few hours of your time each week for 4 weeks. You can participate in the fun things we have planned such as culinary arts, games and activities, fitness, arts & crafts, fields trips, and even Calvary Chapel's Youth Encounter! Be that person who is there for them, lifts a spirit, encourages a broken-heart, and makes a memorable summer... for both of you!
