Juliette Valle 🇵🇪
(St. Thomas May 2027)

Our final scholarship winner was Miss Florida 2023 and a Top 10 finalist at Miss America 2024. She has pursued a dual track, earning a Masters in Liberal Arts from Harvard while in law school.

Juliette served as a Florida Gubernatorial Fellow and Communications Associate for the Florida Department of Education and is also an incoming judicial clerk for Florida’s Third DCA and a Research Assistant to Dean Tarlika Nunez Navarro

Juliette has also founded “Rise Up, Latinas!” LLC, a mentorship initiative connecting young Latina women with professionals in law, business, and public service.

Osuni probably has the least traditional path of all our applicants. Prior to going to law school Osuni spent nearly 5 years as a paralegal at a criminal defense firm. She also served as a Judicial Assistant to the Honorable Alan Fine (11th Cir).

Osuni holds a Florida Guardian Ad Litem certification and has been an advocate for a child in foster care. She has also completed an impressive 130+ hours of pro bono service and it’s clear she will continue to serve her community WHEN she passes the bar!

Lewis Menendez 🇨🇺
(St. Thomas, May 2027)

Lewis’s academic achievements were absolutely outstanding. He has a 3.74 GPA and is in the Top 5% of his class (3rd out of 333) with ✨8 CALI Book Awards✨ across a range of subjects.

Lewis has clerked at the Florida Supreme Court for Justice Jamie Grosshans, and this summer he will be an FFLA Fellow at Legal Services of Greater Miami’s Veterans Advocacy Project, providing legal assistance to low-income veterans 🫶🏼 (we love students who pay it forward)

⭐️ Fun Fact: Before law school he was a Columbia University baseball player and Ivy League Champion ⚾️

(St. Thomas, May 2027)

Isabella is in the top 20% of her class with a 3.119 GPA and earned a CALI Award in Criminal Law.

She also serves as the Vice President of Competitions for the nationally recognized St. Thomas Trial Team and represented St. Thomas in the Chester Bedell Mock Trial Competition (2026).

Isabella aspires to be both an advocate and a mentor within the Hispanic community, with a particular goal of encouraging younger first-generation students to pursue legal careers and ensuring underrepresented families have access to strong representation.
