Dania Beach Monkey Sanctuary We are a 501(c)3 dedicated to the welfare of the wild Dania Beach monkeys. Our sanctuary is a private facility. Our FDACS is CH74026. Page guidelines:

Thank you for your interest and support of the Dania Beach Monkey Sanctuary. The Dania Beach vervet monkeys are part of a long term monitoring project. Current data suggest that the monkey population is not growing and does not pose a risk to the local environment. servation/about-us/what-compassionate-conservation. Our sanctuary provides safe life time care for any monkey at risk of euthanasia. The monkeys are considered a non-native species which affords them NO welfare other than protection from animal cruelty. Our sanctuary is supported by Port Everglades, Broward County Parks and Recreation, Broward County Board of County Commissioners, City of Dania Beach, local participating businesses, and law enforcement. We DO NOT support primates as pets. It contributes to the black market of exotic pets.
