In order to increase production and access of local fresh food, support local farmers, and improve the quality and health of our lives and economy, the Broward Food System Cooperative will need to be developed to support the fledgling local food industry. Our organization will include all segments of the industry including: production, processing, access, markets, waste and recycling, resources an

d supply, land and facilities, and policies and outreach. A diverse group of stakeholders will represent each of these segments.
