✈️ A story that began in the Nigerian bush… and continues today.

The National Christian Charitable Foundation recently shared the inspiring story of Don and Sueanne Campion, and the remarkable journey that led to the revitalization of Egbe Hospital in Nigeria.

Don grew up as a missionary kid in Egbe, where his parents helped build the hospital in the 1950s. Decades later, when he returned with Sueanne and saw the hospital nearly collapsed, they felt God calling them to help restore it. What began as a step of faith has grown into Egbe Medical Mission, a thriving medical complex serving thousands of patients each month while training hundreds of nurses and sharing the Gospel with those who come for care.

Today, what was once a failing hospital is now a 50-acre medical campus providing compassionate healthcare, training, and hope in Christ to communities across Nigeria.

We are so grateful for the vision, faith, and perseverance of Don and Sueanne, and for the many partners, volunteers, and donors who have joined this mission. The Egbe Medical Mission story is a powerful reminder that when God calls, He provides the lift needed to take flight.

Last year, we had the incredible honor of seeing Egbe Medical Mission chosen as the Project of the Year at the M3 Conference. It was a humbling moment to share how God has been working through this ministry to bring compassionate medical care, training, and the Gospel to rural Nigeria.

Our Founder, Don Campion, had the opportunity to share the story of Egbe, the hospital revitalization, and the vision for reaching thousands with both medical care and the hope of Christ. He shares how his business Banyan Air Service supports the Egbe Medical Mission Ministry.

Through partnerships with organizations like Banyan Air Service, Samaritan’s Purse and World Medical Mission, the work at Egbe Hospital continues to expand and impact lives across the region.
