Our story is reaching even more hearts. 💙

We’re honored to see John & Elizabeth’s Toy Drive featured in Yahoo Finance, sharing the story behind a holiday tradition that has been bringing joy to children for 25 years.

From humble beginnings to more than 90,000 children reached, every milestone has been made possible by a community that continues to show up, give back, and believe that every child deserves to experience the magic of the holidays.

This year, we’re working toward an incredible milestone: reaching 10,000 more Broward County Public Schools Title I elementary students and bringing our 25-year impact to 100,000 children.

We’re thrilled to have WPLG Local 10 joining us as a Media Partner for the 25th Anniversary John & Elizabeth’s Toy Drive as we work toward one of our most ambitious years of giving yet.

Our goal is to put a special gift into the hands of 10,000 Broward County Public Schools Title I elementary students. Reaching that many children takes more than one organization. It takes businesses, families, volunteers, community leaders, and partners coming together and saying, “We want to be part of this.”

Having WPLG Local 10 alongside us helps build that momentum throughout South Florida and reminds us of what can happen when a community rallies around its children.

We’re grateful to have their support as we celebrate this milestone year and continue a tradition that has brought so much happiness to local families.

We are proud to recognize Rainbow Sports League, the largest LGBTQ+ sports league in South Florida, as a Community Partner for our 25th Anniversary John & Elizabeth’s Toy Drive. ❤️

At the heart of Rainbow Sports League is a mission to create an inclusive environment where members of the community can feel safe, build meaningful connections, and find a sense of family. For those who may feel alone or disconnected, that feeling of belonging can mean everything.

We are incredibly grateful to have Go Riverwalk as a Media Partner for our 25th Anniversary John & Elizabeth’s Toy Drive, helping us spread the word and bring our Fort Lauderdale community together for a milestone year of giving.
And what better way to kick off the holiday season than with Get Lit!

Join Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale for this beloved community celebration and the official launch of Light Up Lauderdale:

Thursday, November 5, 2026 • 5:30–8:30 PM • Esplanade Park

This year, the celebration comes with an opportunity to make the holidays a little more magical for a local child. Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale is partnering with Suits, Stilettos & Lipstick Foundation to collect toys in support of our goal to provide gifts to 10,000 Broward County Public Schools Title I elementary students.
We invite you to join us and help light up a child’s holiday!

Bring a new, unwrapped toy for a child ages 3–12 and drop it off at our Toy Drive tent at the northeast entrance of Esplanade Park. Please, no toy weapons or stuffed animals.

Some partnerships make an impact that reaches far beyond the holiday season.

As we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the John & Elizabeth’s Toy Drive, we are especially grateful for the continued support of our Charity Partner, the Fort Lauderdale Black Police Officer Association.

Year after year, their commitment helps us turn generosity into something children can feel: the excitement of receiving a special gift, the joy of being remembered, and the magic that makes the holidays so meaningful.

Reaching children throughout our community takes all of us. It takes people and organizations willing to show up, give back, and believe that even a single act of kindness can make a lasting difference in a child’s life.

To the Flbpoa, thank you for showing up for our children and our community. Your continued partnership means more than we can say, and we are deeply grateful to have you helping us carry this tradition of hope and joy forward. ❤️
