Did you know clemency could restore your civil rights? 🦋

Clemency is a constitutional process that gives convicted felons a path to relief from punishment and restoration of civil rights. It’s an act of mercy — the power to grant full or conditional pardons, or reduce a sentence.

⚖️ Granted by the Governor with agreement from two Cabinet members

⚖️ The Governor alone holds the power to deny clemency

⚖️ Not available to those adjudicated delinquent as juveniles (if not also adjudicated guilty as an adult)

There are several types of clemency, each with different outcomes. Swipe through to learn the difference between each.

Did you know? A micro-donation of just $10 can cover the processing fees to help someone request an official record for a clean slate. You do not need to change the world alone, you just need to help one person move forward.
