Innovation starts in the classroom. Through Broward Education Foundation’s Innovative Grants, educators across Broward County Public Schools are creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences that bring lessons to life.

With support from an Innovative Grant, Dr. Bowe is helping students explore geometry beyond the classroom through “Shaping the Garden: Applying Geometry in Real-World Settings.” Students apply geometric concepts to design and create a garden, using measurement, shapes, angles and spatial reasoning to solve real-world challenges. This hands-on experience helps students see how geometry connects to the world around them while building problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Together, we are empowering the next generation of innovators, problem-solvers and lifelong learners. 🌱📐
