Why: Because We Love Our Community

DISCLAIMER… If you are looking to get your child’s hair cut, braided or styled, their hair MUST BE CLEAN AND BRUSHED/COMBED OUT!!
If your child’s hair is not clean or brushed/combed out, we WILL NOT be able to accommodate you or your child’s hair. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS.

What an incredible night! ❤️

Our 10th Annual Peanut Butter & Jelly Project Casino Night was a huge success, and because of the generosity of our amazing sponsors, donors, volunteers, and everyone who attended, we raised enough to provide 2,000 backpacks filled with school supplies for local children.

Every backpack represents more than notebooks and pencils—it represents confidence, opportunity, and the chance for a child to start the school year prepared for success. Our children are our future, and together we’re investing in that future.

To everyone who donated, sponsored, volunteered, or simply showed up to support our mission… thank you. We truly couldn’t do this without you.

The work isn’t over. Backpack distribution is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to see the smiles on these kids’ faces.

Remember your first day back to school? The excitement? Your new haircut, new backpack, all new school supplies? You were ready to crush the school year!

Well not all children are this fortunate. Many children don’t have the luxury of a new backpack and school supplies, of having that fresh new haircut or style. Our goal is provide these basic needs to children who simply can not afford these things that were so readily available to us.

Our 10th annual Back To School Backpack & School Supply Giveaway is Sunday August 9, 2026 at Fort Lauderdale High School.

Every child deserves to start the school year off right by getting a fresh haircut, a new backpack, and all the school supplies they need to make this school year a ok successful one.
