Good morning everyone!

It seems most of Florida did better than expected with the passing of Milton.

We know SAR Teams with boats available to help anyone that needs to leave a flooded area on the West Coast - Clearwater / Tampa area. Tidewater Disaster Response P A N S O C - Atlanta Chapter 50 Star SAR

We have Matt’s group coming south from South Carolina tomorrow with chainsaws and happy to help clear roads and help residents get in or out of their homes. They may be setting their sites in St Lucie / Ft Pierce area.

Dirty South is in Broward - along with friends with airboats and buggies - just kind of waiting to see if and where we are needed.

If you or someone you know is in an area that is in bad shape and we can help or any of our friends staged to the north, let us know!

Tidewater Disaster Response just finished deployment in the Carolina’s flying relief into the mountains and here we are they are coming southbound.

If you are in an evacuation route, please leave. Water is powerful.

TDR has activated a joint swift water rescue and route clearance team for Hurricane Milton. We are mobilizing a full crew Tuesday, Oct 8, in anticipation of a landfall overnight on Wednesday, Oct.9.

We are launching a fuel fundraiser to offset our costs of travel with a goal of $1,000.

There is still some uncertainty regarding the location of landfall but with the forecasted intensity of the storm, all of Florida should be paying close attention! If you haven’t heard of Mike's Weather Page - you should check him out, he makes weather easy to understand!

Our operations team continues to meet on a regular cadence and will be posting updates throughout the week, as necessary.
