The salvage of the Heimdall wasn't a job for just anyone—it was a test of innovation and perseverance. Trapped in one of the world's most dangerous seas after a previous attempt failed, the vessel was deemed too unstable to tow.

Our team at Resolve Marine was brought in to craft a unique solution that defied traditional salvage methods. By thinking differently, we were able to safely recover the vessel and rewrite the rulebook of marine salvage.

Resilience, expertise, and a commitment to protecting our oceans. That's what our team demonstrated on the Coimbra project.

Originally tasked with an oil assessment, our team's mission was to locate and quantify the oil onboard the sunken vessel. But once we were on site, we realized we could do more.

Instead of waiting for a new contract, we took the initiative to begin the oil removal process immediately, preventing further environmental damage. This decision not only streamlined the operation but also showcased our team's dedication to going above and beyond.

At Resolve Marine, we're proud of our team's ability to adapt and provide effective solutions in even the most challenging situations.

When faced with the challenge of a project, the biggest unknown is often what you'll find when you get there. At Coimbra, we went in with basic information, but we had no idea of the scale of the operation until we started drilling.

The amount of oil we found was a surprise to everyone, but our crew was ready to take on the challenge. We're proud to have prevented a major environmental disaster and to continue our work protecting the oceans.
