It has been a very sad few days here at Boxer Friends, Inc. (Rescue). Today Coco's mom had to say goodbye to her girl. If you remember, Coco came to us via God's Dog Rescue in Texas. Jenna and Holly not only saved her literally on the day she was to be euthanized but they kept her safe while arrangements were made to get Coco to South Florida. Coco went on a transport to get to North Florida and then we were lucky enough to get her on a Pilots and Paws flight to South Florida.
Mavis had just lost her boxer and when she saw Coco's picture she immediately wanted to help. Coco and Mavis were a pair of senior ladies that were just made for each other. Mavis doted on Coco and Coco was loving life.
Fast forward 4 years later and Coco let Mavis know she was tired and it was time to say see you later. Coco passed peacefully with her mom by her side.
Please say a prayer for Mavis as she grieves the loss of her sweet girl. Mavis, please know that we send you our love and deepest sympathy. Thank you for opening your heart and home to a senior pup that so many people sadly pass over.
Godspeed sweet Coco.

Barbara adopted Buster when he was a young pup full of young boxer energy. Buster was loving life with lots of land, a family that loved him and a couple of furry family members. All was good until Buster started feeling his oats and thinking he was head pup. It never crossed Barbara's mind to return him. Instead she separated, rotated and made sure all the dogs got equal attention and love.
Barbara knew Buster was "off" the other day and rushed him to the emergency vet where Buster collapsed. Sadly, Buster went into cardiac arrest and couldn't be revived. As you can imagine Barbara and her family are heartbroken and in complete shock. We are sending our love and sympathy to them. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate the unexpected loss of their handsome boy. Godspeed Buster. đź’”

The world lost an angel on earth. Sadly, Laura Sawyer (Boxer Rescue Angels of Florida, Inc) passed away a few days ago. Laura's passion was the many boxers she helped over the years but her compassion didn't stop there. Laura will be remembered not only for saving the boxers but for her kind heart.
We are sure she was greeted by lots of wiggle butts that have gone on before her.
Laura will be missed by all of us who were lucky enough to know her. To Laura's family and friends, we extend our most heartfelt sympathy to you. Godspeed Laura.

Palm Coast, FL - Adorable Dusty Rose aka Dusty is in need of a new home. Dusty is a 60 pound (stocky) 5 year old boxer blend and we have been told the following about her. Dusty is needing a new home because the resident dog is not being nice to her. There has been multiple fights and the owner has decided that it’s not safe for humans or dogs at this point. Dusty gets along better with male dogs. She is mostly potty trained but can have an accident in the house if she’s not let out when she has to go (current owner is working on that). Sadly, Dusty’s first owner used a shock collar on her and she can be skittish with loud yelling. She also warms up to women faster than men. Dusty loves to play with balls…they are her favorite but will also play with plastic bottles. She loves to go in the car. She also can clear a 4 foot fence so a 5 or 6 foot fence is required. She is spayed, on HW preventative and up to date with vaccines.

Please let us know if you are interested in this adorable nugget. We will then put you in touch with her current owner.

Please, only comment if you are seriously interested in helping Dusty.
