Through Habitat Broward’s Youth Empowerment Program (YEP), young people from our homeowner families are given opportunities to build confidence, develop leadership skills, form meaningful connections, and prepare for their futures in a supportive environment. The children in our empowerment program also get financial literacy.

Brent serves on the Board of Directors of JM Family Enterprises and most recently served as the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer. During his nearly two decades with the organization, he held several executive positions and has been actively involved in numerous nonprofits throughout South Florida. Throughout his leadership at JM Family Enterprises —and as a longtime supporter of Habitat, including co-chairing our CEO Build—Brent has demonstrated that business success and community impact go hand in hand.
